Title: Opening pool
Post by: hensleyll on April 19, 2021, 04:51:16 am
So I shocked the pool just have to vacuum, my intentions were to get it cleaned cover it, and wait but now it's raining and i wasted chemicals . I am having a hard time finding my filters our Walmart never carries them and this is the only dept store in our town besidesT.J. max and they don't carry them. Any suggestions on a website I ordered some but they cheap paper ones.

I won't be going into no one pool this summer unless it is family and they all have been vaccinated

I am surprised that you are closing the pool as a lot of people are going to be trying to open them around here in the near future. As for filters you can find some in home depot and lowes and you might be able to order them online.

mine is a small above ground only me and the kids I babysit which are grandkids and nephews go in it, not really closing just want to clean and cover so it stays clean until its warm enough to go in I was told cover would help it warm up quicker

Not sure what the original post is about, but I feel like a lot of pools will open around Memorial Day which is the unofficial start of summer

I need to get a new pool. Someone took a bb gun and put some holes into mine at the end of last summer. Still annoyed at that because neighbors said the culprits were on the property when they did it and never were caught

I can't see using a public pool. There are so many filthy people using them.

Pools are very expensive to maintain. We use to own a Pool Store and had to service pools.

I am excited if the pool in my gym opened again soon once most people in my state are vaccinated. My son misses his swimming lessons at the YMCA as well.

The apartment complex where I live has a pool.  The apartment manager told me that the pool was going to open up on June 1st.  Don't know yet if I will use the pool because my daughter has an above ground pool at her house.  My grandson fell in last year on Easter Sunday and drowned.  Don't know if I am ready to get in a pool yet.

I don't know how people can swim in other peoples pools or even the public pools.  It just seem so gross and nasty.

We are in California and have been in the pool for over 2 months already.  You should be able to get the filters on line from Lowe's or Home Depot.

So figured out why it stays green the pump I'm using is not the right one it is not strong enough, the one that came with the pool was knocked over in a storm and doesn't work anymore have to change filters every day

I am debating if I should sign up my son for swim at the YMCA this summer. I think swimming is safe, just not sure about the showering and clean up before and afterwards.
