To me pretty noisy like thundertorms in middle of the night. wakes me up then hard to go back to bed. anyone else?

No jets coming to the one close to our house, the helicopters are pretty loud.

My Mom has a lot of Jets and Planes going over her house. She lives near the Airport. We live in the Country, so all we get is Helicopters.

Very few jets but lots of helicopters, we live about 2 miles from the biggest hospital in this area. Medivac, the hospitals helicopters fly over us going or coming in with very seriously injured people. Whenever I see one going or coming I always say a prayer for that person on board

With all the news on crashed aircraft and some in homes/houses crashing, you would think the craft would be routed away from urban and suburban areas.

I live by the airport, it is how my condo was cheaper, I am so happy that the noise do not even bother me at all even if they get busy. Noise don't bother my cat we are blessed for sure. :wave:

Rarely jets but helicopters and they would linger for like half an hour circling the block before they leave. Annoying as f**k...

They told us when we bought our plots at the cemetery that there would be jets and other aircraft flying over that area and he asked if we thought that would bother us. ::)
We said we didn't think so. Does that count?

I see helicopters some times in the morning - nothing overnight except thunderstorms

In our area houses were put in after the airports, so you cannot really complain if you already knew it was there. They have also in our area had the airports pay for soundproofing, insulation and windows in these homes that came after the fact. If the airport is in the middle of the city how are you going to avoid going over any urban or suburban areas. If they moved the airports out then people would complain how long it took to get to them.

We have Medivac helicopters a lot, plus regular planes flying over a lot. Some sound like they're going to land on the house. Scares me. This just started with the planes about 6 months ago. There's a military base 50-60 miles away so we also have military jets and military helicopters once-in-a-while when they do military practice maneuver. You can almost see their faces, they are that low. They choose our area because of the mountains. They need to learn to get around and through them. This used to be such a quiet area. Not any more. :(

Where i reside in the lease they have a notice that you sign stating that you understand that there will be planes and jets flying over your home. I hear it at times. Not all the time though.

I live about 30 miles from Ft. Bragg and occasionally you hear their planes fly overhead, but not too often. I also live close to a hospital so I hear the helicopter every now and then.

Are you a member of "NextDoor" ? They always post what the "Helicopter" is doing flying around the neighborhood. I get a lot of the accidents on the main roads here too.

not a member. i live in boston and live in suburbs. But they sometimes reroute planes over here instead of the nonpopulated areas.

No, not living anywhere close to jets or helicopters. That might be annoying.
