I do go through the stores I search for stuff, some times items are good enough for gifts for friends. Have you found any mysteries in a second-hand stores?
-
Yes I used to shop at thrift stores often but I realize I have too much junk (clothes etc) I only shop there if I am looking for something specific.

I used to go to second hand stores, i don't go into to many stores these days

I will go to any store that will not require me to wear a mask. :monkey:
I'm not proud, but I'm freaky stubborn. :angry7:

Mostly I go to children consignment stores because you can get some gently used baby clothes for a lot less than they would cost new. My daughter just had a baby boy and we have got a lot of his clothes from this type of store.

I love Half Price Books.

Once in a while Ill shop at goodwill or any other thrift shop. But mostly its to scout out things i could sell for higher price online. Making a nice little bit of side money with what i find here and there

I like to shop at second hand stores. You find some really interesting and cool things and they are cheap.

I have not in physical stores, but am increasingly browsing at EBay at second hand items. Some of them are really nice so I will give them a try.

I only go to second hand shops to look for something for my DIY. I would never buy clothes in such shops.

Almost all my clothes and some of my husband's come from a Mission Store nearby, Good Will, or Salvation Army. Also, puzzles, occasionally books or movies, etc. I LOVE second had stores.

We have started going to Second hand stories more often. There is a new one in town Have never heard of it before we my look at it next week. I think it is only open Tuesday thru Saturday.

Yes and sometimes find interesting things. I've cut back since the covid.

Years ago I was a snob about buying second-hand (I have no idea why, and am awfully ashamed of it now), but now it's practically the only way I'll make a purchase for books, movies, clothes, etc. I'm lucky enough that Plato's Closet is right across the street, and 2nd & Charles (not everything new, but plenty of it!) is only about 20 minutes' walk away. I frequent these both quite a lot and feel a lot better about finding things at a bargain, plus making wiser purchasing choices for the planet (and neither stores use plastic bags! :highfive: )
