I would if they're one-of-a-kind. I'd buy it and then sell it for a higher price. Hehe.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Gay Marriage

Thanks for the information. I grew up believing that marriage is a religious ceremony and that I needed to get married in a church with some priest binding the marriage or some sort.

Since that's not the case, there's no reason for religious people to oppose something that does not even concern with their life.. unless they believe God will bring h*** to Earth as punishment. That matter may never be resolved.

I think when people oppose gay marriage, it is because they believe is it disturbing or because of religion.

Personally, two people of the same sex getting married has no affect on my life what-so-ever so I don't see a reason why anybody should get in between the two people in love.

Does it say anywhere in the Bible that those who are believers should change the minds of those who aren't?
Love and politics are two completely different subjects. Since marriage belongs in the religion field, why don't we create a marriage that's nonreligious? You know how there has to be a licensed priest at the ceremony? Why don't we have a marriage that doesn't require one for the nonreligious people? In the United States, aren't we free to believe and to not believe? We don't HAVE to get married at a church right?

Debate & Discuss / Re: Ways to lose weight?

I read about the lemon diet and the diet only consist of lemon water and non-solid foods? Doesn't sound too healthy to me.

Even if you lose 20 lbs after the diet, you've only lost water weight and toxins, both of which can be gained very easily. In order to lose weight and be able to maintain it, you'd have to lose fat which means using the only method - exercise.

For me I stopped eating meat last june.  I eat nothing but vegetables, rice, and bread.  I have lost 90 lbs.  I don't even excersise due to disabilities.  I do not take any pills either.
Woahh. If you give up meat, won't you feel lethargic all the time? I'm scared that I won't have the energy to do anything if I were to give it up. Most of the vegetarians I know eat only chicken because they said they felt too weak at times.

Doesn't beer give you a beer belly? How do you get rid of a beer belly exactly?

It's the time of the year where they start to put all the summer clothes in the sales rack so here's a savings tip: Buy summer clothes in the winter and winter clothes in the summer! I've done that for so many years and managed to save myself from retail prices. I mean.. a jacket for $50 in the winter compared to a jacket for $15 in the summer? That's one heck of a deal!

Maybe he truly forgot about his birthday. As a father, he really shouldn't have but if you look at the issue with different perspectives, maybe he had a work or health emergency. You should give him a call and ask. He owes his son an explanation.

Debate & Discuss / Ways to lose weight?

So I've been trying to go on a "diet," (eating less, eating vegetables, counting calories, blah blah) but in truth, we all know that only exercise will bring good results. I've read on many forums about how to lose weight super fast without popping pills or buying the Kardashian's protein shakes and, for women i guess, the fastest way would be to do pilates daily and not eat after 7 pm. For those of you who are late night snackers like me, I find it SUPER hard but my resolution to that was to drink TONS of water and if you REALLY have the urge to snack, consume no more than 100 calories. So far, I've lost 5 pounds from doing pilates and not snacking at night. I honestly doubt that I would last over a month but..

what are some of the exercises/practices that you guys do to lose or maintain your weight?
