Off-Topic / Re: I don't use Facebook anymore

I haven't logged into my account in ages and I have no plans of doing so.  At first it was O.K.to connect with relatives and old acquaintances.

I find it easier to keep in touch either by phone, or on the Zoom app.

Wow, that's a good one.  I hope it doesn't get revoked either.  Between that survey and a couple of months' worth of forum bonuses ( if you have done 2 consecutive months of posting ) that is a nice bit of change credited to your account.

On occasion I will get a bout of insomnia.  It is sooo annoying.  During the day when I have tasks to complete it's great when I can think clearly and complete what I have to do.

But when that brain just refuses to shut down at night when the rest of me is shutting down, things get really messed up.

For me, sometimes I have to cut back or cut out the caffeine and add the herbal teas.  ( Naturally decaffeinated )

Oh dear, that is painful.  If you have baking soda, you might try mixing a little with water to make a paste.  Then put it on the sting area.  It helps to ease the pain and draw out the poison.

I have used that remedy numerous times in my life when I got stung and it has helped very much.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you enjoy Board Games?

I used to like board games when I was younger; Monopoly, Life, Aggravation and Checkers to name a few.  For a short while I got into chess.

As I got older, I lost interest.  The only game I play nowadays is solitaire.  I use the free  online version either on my phone, tablet or laptop.

I have not had a chance to do my posts so far this month so I buckled down and got some done this weekend. I just hope I get paid for June and July posts sometime soon.
That's really good.  I always like to get a big head start in the early part of the month.  When that doesn't work then it's crunch time.  It looks like you had a 'crunch time' weekend.

Then if we were to get the June and July credit at or around the same time, there will be more of an incentive.  It's always nice to talk about the good and nice things we experience.

I'm beginning to think these machines know more about us than WE do!
I think you may be right as scary as that is.  Smart phones, smart cars, smart houses and now smart survey panels.  Yikes, I think it may be time to decompress; shut everything down, fix a cup of hot tea and sit on the back porch listening to the beautiful birds.  That sounds harmless to me.

That is great!  I tried a few of those virtual shopping surveys before.  I was successful with several but lately they have not worked well for me.  My page freezes up and then I end up either scrapping the floor or bouncing off the ceiling.  LOL

I might give it another try if one comes along and I'm feeling confident in my virtual shopping skills.   ::)

Yaay, that's always fun.  Sometimes when I'm re-routed to a different survey, the pay changes.  That has happened many times before but as I think back with all of my activity on Tap Research, I don't recall getting extra incentive. Congrats.  An extra 8 cents will add up.

I almost always visit the 'Today in History' page. Sometimes there are discrepancies here and there.  It's no problem with me.  I never take the typos personally.  At the end of my 2 and a half minute time, I still get credit.

This is a first; I've never heard anyone being allergic to rice.  I would first suspect any seasonings used before concluding that it's the rice causing allergic reactions.

If I ever found out that I were allergic to rice, I would have to do something drastic like change my chemical composition.   LOL  Just kidding.

It's been quite a long time since I went to a Chick Fil A.  I used to like it very much.  I don't know why I stopped but I just did.

A while back I saw an advertisement for new menu items which looked pretty good.  Sometimes when I see those ads, I get inspired to try and make something like it at home.

Not only did I not have that happen to me but I'm sure it never will in the future.  I've read the terms of service and fully understand that there is a time limit to the credits in the account.  180 days to be exact, a full 6 months!

There are other earning sites that let you keep your cash or points as long as you keep the account opened.  Fusion Cash in not one of those sites.  You have to stay active or you will lose your credits.

It is not hard at all to cash out before credits expire.  Make it a point and a habit to spend a few minutes a day ( or most days ) and there should be no problem.

Off-Topic / Re: Just waiting for the phone to ring
« on: August 12, 2020, 10:26:55 am »Message ID: 1335768
I found another way to work from home.  I am finishing up certification.  At first I was excited about it, now I am nervous.  This isn't the first time that I have tried to run a home based business. This one seems to be a bit easier than what I had tried before.  Pretty sure that the kids understand to leave me alone during work hours.  That was a problem years ago.  I will be an inbound call rep.  I like that.  Not having to make dials.  Just wait for the phone to ring.
I wish you all the best.  It's a good thing that you're O.K. being a phone person. I don't like the phone; never have.  I remember as a kid, when the landline phone would ring, I would try to run the other way.

My husband and I own our business.  I assist him but most of the assistance does not involve talking on the phone.

Hopefully the kids do know the importance of allowing you to work without interruptions.

More often than not it is very easy and very fast to earn the 5 cent minimum, especially using TAP.  Sometimes, though, things don't go as smoothly as I am used to. On those days, I just spend a little extra time and keep plugging away.  That last penny to reach my nickle is only a few clicks away.   :)
