Suggestions / I have to keep resubscribing to the DCE
« on: November 01, 2012, 12:04:44 pm »Message ID: 633303
Whenever I go on vacation to a foreign country for a few weeks, my Daily Cash Email stops coming after awhile. I have to ignore them while on vacation due to having wildly foreign IPs. Thus, when I get back I always have to resubscribe because apparently I get automatically unsubscribed after about 2 weeks of not being able to click on them. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying nonetheless. I personally don't think I should be "unsubscribed" after just 2 weeks of inactivity!

Debate & Discuss / Woman tries to kill her daughters and herself due to Rapture
« on: May 21, 2011, 08:58:46 am »Message ID: 356493
And y'all love to say how religion isn't harmless...really now...these stories flood the news everyday:

"Palmdale (KTLA) — A woman slit her daughters’ throats before slitting her own early Friday evening, claiming that “the Tribulation” was going to occur and she wanted to prevent them from suffering through it, officials said.

Lyn Benedetto, 47, reportedly told her daughters to lie on a bed and proceeded to take a knife to their throats.
The suspect then took the knife to her own throat before driving the victims to an unoccupied friend’s house to die.
Lancaster Station deputies responded to a call regarding an “assault with knife” at about 5:32pm from the owner of the residence where the victims had been taken.

The victims and the suspect were found and the location, and the suspect was subsequently arrested.

The victims were treated at Antelope Valley Hospital for moderate though non life-threatening injuries and released to custody of Department of Children’s Services."

Debate & Discuss / God is...Love? This video proves he isn't!
« on: April 03, 2011, 07:35:28 am »Message ID: 334742
It's a common utterance amongst Christians that "God is Love".  However, the Bible itself defines what love is in 1 Corinthians 13, and Yahweh fails each and every definition miserably.  Nonstampcollector just released a great comparison video that shows how the god of the Bible is most certainly NOT love:

Christians, I'd love to hear your rebuttals to the point made by this video.

Off-Topic / Million Dollar Money Drop
« on: January 13, 2011, 01:36:31 pm »Message ID: 298701
Anyone seen this new gameshow?  I started watching it after the first episode's "scandal" was posted on Yahoo.  It's sooo addicting, but you can totally tell that FOX has it set up so everyone will leave with way less than 1 million dollars.  Only 3 people have won so far out of 9 episodes!!  And two of them were for low amounts ($80,000 from 1 million).

Check it out on hulu if you haven't seen it yet.   ;D

Support / American flags

I was wondering why we all have lil' American flags under our names now.  I was under the impression that this site was open to the U.S. only?  lol  Has that changed?

Debate & Discuss / Um, Why Was "If you believe in God, You're a retard" Locked?

Did you all know that SCIENTISTS have proved that there is a section of the brain that is not available for use to anyone who does not believe in God.  It is only used when God is showing an individual an awesome secret.  Many scientists have become Christians when they had planned to devote their entire lives to prove there was no God.  In trying to prove this, they found out instead that there is a God.  Amen!

I hate when believers try to claim science for their side.  They seem to always end up epically failing!

Okay, #1: that is ridiculous to say "there is a whole section of brain not available to use for non-believers".  The part of the brain you are referring to is due to EVOLUTION and while atheists might use it LESS, this is certainly not something for your side to brag about because that area is where primitive irrationality stems from.

#2 Having an area in your brain that is susceptible to heavenly hallucinations only proves evolution, because when you die, so does your brain.  If "the god experience" was actually LEGIT, it would NOT be an integral part of your brain, because your personality can be completely changed if you get a head injury, making you NOT believe in god, or believe in a *different* god.

#3 92+% of the National Academy of Scientists don't believe in god.  That's not just a majority -- it's an overwhelming majority.  So what are you talkin' about?
