Off-Topic / Malware WARNING

When I clicked on the 2 cent Trivago video today it wanted me to update my viewing software, but it turned out to be malware that pretended to be a malware warning.  It took over my computer, changed my homepage, changed my search engine and is still appearing on Fusion cash even though I restarted my computer.  I have work to do, but I've been chasing this down for the last couple hours.  I've put in a support ticket about it, but felt I should warn the forum community.

Off-Topic / Paypal Cash question

I have added cash to my Paypal account with Green Dot MoneyPac cards for some time now, but they discontinued the MoneyPac cards due to scammers using them so much.  Green Dot now has Paypal Cash and says I should see a link for it on my Paypal "Add Money" page.  I don't see the link, it's not there.  Do any of you have a Paypal Cash link on your Paypal "Add Money" page?

My friend Emerald is going through a major crisis, a breakdown.  She won't even let me help so I'm seeking other ways to help.  Please pray for her, send her healing energy of all kinds.  This has been going on for days and I'm really worried.

I see some others have been having problems lately.  Me too.

The survey's keep getting stuck today.  They're extremely slow to load.

Radio Loyalty won't let me use it.  I use it occasionally, in the background, like I've read others do.  Today they say I'm "banned" due to "sustained suspicious" use.  What?!    I don't understand what they're talking about.  Their only solution is a form requiring my full name and e-mail.  I'll give them my user name, but...

It's the end of the month.  I'm trying to cash out this month.  This isn't a good time for problems.

Who writes these things?  It was quite nostalgic to see Jimmy's birthday noted, however it'd be more correct to list him as part of "The Osmond Brothers" than "Donnie and Marie".  What's more D spells his name DONNY.  Jimmy had his own solo albums, songs, etc and today is still working, behind the scenes, in the business.  They should have put one of his song titles up i.e. "Long Haired Lover From Liverpool".

Off-Topic / Little girl needs prayers

There was a bad accident, that shook my apartment building, a short time ago.  A car swerved to avoid another car, hit a light pole and flipped over into the front of a house.  There was a little girl, about 2 or 3, in a car seat, in the back seat.  She was covered in blood and unresponsive.  Her mom must have been called, she came from work and went in the ambulance.  Grandpa was driving.  This little girl, and her family, can use all the prayers she can get.  I have no way to follow up on this, I don't know the family, but we can help with our prayers.

Off-Topic / New e-mail scam

I like to order from Wal-Mart online then pick up the items at the store.  The selection is greater than what my small store carries and I'm guaranteed the item is available for me.  I do not even give them a mailing or street address since I don't like delivery fees.  The last time I ordered anything was several months ago.  So it was puzzling to get an e-mail from "Walmart" telling me that my order could not be delivered because my address was unintelligible so I should click on the link to put my address into their form.  It was spooky, but there were so many things wrong with it:  no hyphen in Wal-mart, no logo, no outstanding order, all their tracking efforts, etc.  Needless to say the message went into my spam folder and deleted.

Do NOT fall for this.

Off-Topic / My brother needs your prayers

Last week my older brother blacked out in his home and woke up on the floor around 24 hours later.  He's now in the hospital and his diabetic dog is refusing food.  They are in the jackson Michigan area.  Luckily he has great friends near by, but I live in NM and am unable to travel to him.  He's my only sibling.  Please send him, his dog and all his caregivers your prayers and healing energy.  Thank you.   

I just found out last night when he missed our weekly call.

Offers / Did you see the under age drinking video?

New Mexico Department of Transportation created the video on under age drinking.  I live in New Mexico, but I'm curious if everyone gets to see it.  It is a universal message. 

At any rate the man unloading the alcohol for the party is Miguel Martinez, a local actor I've worked with.  That's a first, to see someone I know acting in one of our videos here on FC.  Too cool.
