Off-Topic / Fatigue

Amazing how stress wears you out.

Family drama, trying to make a buck, miss-comunication, someone trying to break into your email......tons of phishing (multiple spam) issues...

Wearing me out currently.

Hope the rest of the week brings rest, refreshment, and healing, and the phishing nuts get arrested, and their photo in jail be sent to all their victims

Off-Topic / Time to Decide
« on: August 18, 2018, 11:57:48 am »Message ID: 1233275
I have been with this site for a few years now. At first there were several little videos you could do to quickly get the 5 cents daily for the Paid to Click.

However, I almost never qualify for a survey. I am 75, have an old car, I do have a smart phone, live in big apt. bldg.

Nothing that helps me work a few surveys a week.

I have appreciated the $3 a month bonus, but that does not get you payout.

I am seriously considering just quitting. Too frustrating.   Working on this payout for about a year.

There is just nothin' to put me over to payout any more.

I have enjoyed this Community Forum, though.

Not sure, but leaning in that direction.

Off-Topic / Not Today
« on: July 06, 2018, 12:59:57 pm »Message ID: 1226116
June was a hard month.  The weather here was great, just hard life issues.

This month so far has been very hot and muggy, drained the energy out of me till today...low 70s, gentle breeze.

Great news a beloved grandchild coming for a visit at the end of the month, and praying for weather like today.

I am just tired, have nothing interesting to say. Just keeping my obligation to put in something to meet the quota.

So, everyone have a good day....even if you are "in neutral" like me.

Off-Topic / "Ant Man"
« on: May 05, 2018, 12:25:48 pm »Message ID: 1213394
I usually don't watch comic book movies.  However, I am watching "Ant Man" just for noise in the background as I do a bunch of stuff.  Must be the fourth time I have played it (on demand) over the last several months

It is actually very funny. Not spooky, and a lot of subtle and not so subtle humor.  When I am busy and look up for a moment, there is usually something funny being said or done on there.

I am not a comedy person, and I am 75, but it makes me laugh. Takes some stress out of a crazy day.

Any way, hope everyone has some light-hearted moments this day/wknd.

I am grateful the author of this is banned from the forum, but wish all his topics be removed.

He was creepy, and lowered the quality of discussion on the forum.

Here is one of his topics "http://www.fusioncash.net/forum.php?topic=85777.0"

Thanks support, for clearing his discussions out.

Suggestions / Is this really necessary??
« on: April 04, 2018, 01:59:27 pm »Message ID: 1207740
Do we really need toilet topics in "off topics"?

From do you always flush, to running out of TP problems.

I kind of gag when I see these topics....nothing else to talk about?

How about topics of fun, humor, friendly chit-chat.

I am not going to even comment in there.

Even the topic how you want to die.....

Off-Topic / Incorporating exercise into my daily life.
« on: March 11, 2018, 09:24:46 am »Message ID: 1203161
I am 75 years old tomorrow.

This year, I can feel me slowing down a bit. I am an avid vegetable gardener.  Last year, had a couple slipped discs putting pressure on my sciatic nerve. Went downhill.

Finding some exercises to do everyday, starting with a complete stiff stretch in the morning for at least 25 seconds. Wow, does that help. When I get out of bed, I can stand straight now.  Have to do it every morning.

I am trying to not sit more than half an hour at a time, and when I get up, I kind of march....working my sore knees.

I am using water bottles as weights to work my arms while I am watching tv.

Trying to incorporate all the muscles in some exercise all through my day.

I also try to walk several blocks every day, weather permitting etc.

Spring is on the way, even in Wisconsin.  I want to be ready to have a garden that thrives for me and this family. Much healthier than store bought.

I am also sprouting a lot of Broccoli, Kale, and other sprout seed mixes in kitchen to give me the vitamins and vigorous health I want to maintain.

Hope you all are having spring health re-vitalization going on.  Helps the brain, the heart, the muscles, and all the body.

Got my payout today, deposited right into my Pay Pal.

I don't earn payout every month, for sure, but when I get it, it goes off without a hitch. And always perfect timing.

Thanks much for keeping your word here, and an honest business enterprise :)

Off-Topic / Fluffy Wuffy Snow.
« on: January 16, 2018, 11:26:17 am »Message ID: 1191967
I had to clear out my car this morning from 8 in of snow.

Really don't mind. I love fluffy snow. It brings a new brightness to bare trees and brown grass.

I am 74, and it takes longer. My car is parked in a pkg lot.

However, it was fun, and nice to know I can still do it.

I love the four seasons, and winter has its beauty too.

Suggestions / Ya know what I really miss here??
« on: December 15, 2017, 07:36:24 am »Message ID: 1185451
When I first signed up, maybe two years ago, it was a lot of fun.

There were lots of short videos to watch from a half cent to 5 or more cents...watching more than one time for them.

They were very helpful for getting the PTC requirement.

Wish they would bring them back. Think of it often.

Off-Topic / Looking for cute games on Christmas
« on: December 13, 2017, 08:28:31 am »Message ID: 1185119
When my grandkids lived near by and little, we used to have a bunch of silly little games that we all played together on Christmas.

Then they moved to Florida, and we just had dinner with the four adults of family here.

Now, two of the four, older teens, have moved back, and I do not have any idea of a few cute little game ideas we can do when they are here for Christmas.

I am sure they are expecting a few. Can any one give me a couple ideas?

Thanks so much!!

Off-Topic / Veterans Day
« on: November 10, 2017, 08:25:54 am »Message ID: 1179112
I went to check on a neighbor in my apt bldg this morning.

He is a WWII veteran, and we have been friends.

He turned 100 Sunday.  You would never know he is that old. Vigorous for his age.

Hope all veterans on this site have a great day. You are appreciated, and thank you for your service.

Support / A survey I got in my email ...
« on: September 23, 2017, 06:53:41 am »Message ID: 1168829
I spent 20 minutes taking a survey I got from FC in my email on commercials. Finished it. It thanked me for taking the survey. Checked the "I am not a robot" box.

Clicked to finish, and it gave me 1 cent for trying, and I had been denied after total completion.

I know it happens, but what a waste of time! Frustrated.

Off-Topic / Florida Refugees Come Home
« on: September 10, 2017, 06:11:41 am »Message ID: 1166670
My grand-children and my great-grandson have been in Florida for seven years.

I have missed them so much. I could never convince their mom to move back with all the kiddos.

Along came Hurricane Irma. The all arrived back here in Wisconsin last night.

Took a storm, an act of God. So grateful.

Support / When I first signed up....

Hi

When I first became a member, almost 2 yrs ago I think, the videos were fun.

You watched a commercial, or short video, and got 3-5 cents, It was fun, encouraging...could get the PTC fairly easily.

Now, the videos are laborious. Often involving social media. Or maybe taking a long process to earn 1 cent. 12 videos for 1 penny is not drawing me in.

May I suggest occasionally getting more of those back? It encouraged folks to stick with it long haul.

Thanks   :rose:
