Off-Topic / Holidays stink!

It's official - the holidays stink for us. We have had several passing over the past 10 years around the holidays. Then Christmas night my husband was admitted to the hospital with swelling every where - even in places where it shouldn't swell. He has fatty liver and scaring on the liver. He came home Saturday. But there is a long road ahead of us. I'm stressed beyond max, we have two children, one is special needs. So I am doing everything. Not sure how we are going to make ends meet now. I may have to start a gofundme page, I doubt we will get much out of that. Extended family has their own things and we really have no one to rely on. Sorry for venting a being a party pooper.

What is your pet peeve? I am thinking my biggest pet peeve is judgemental people. If you have lived in my shoes and know exactly what I have been through my entire life, then you have no right to judge me. If you are without sin, then you can cast the first stone. Otherwise bud out. No, I am not perfect, never said I was but I just dislike folks passing judgement on others without knowing the whole situation. There is always two sides to every story.

Does anyone here use the site Swagbucks? I have not been able to log in since Friday (11-1-2019). Keeps there is an error logging in. I try from my cell phone and states my account has been deactivated. I have emailed and even did a ticket and still haven't received any response. Rather annoyed since I have a lot built up and have invested a lot of time. Was wondering if anyone else was having issues.

I love this time of year. It is suppose to rain in our area for trick or treating. I hope it stops or moves on out before my kids head out for candy. They are anxious about trick or treating.    Anyway. Happy Early Halloween.

Depending on the amount we get back from taxes, my family and I are considering a vacation early summer. We haven't been on a vacation since 2016. We live in Georgia. Do not want to go abroad. We are considering the beach (possibly Tybee Island, Savannah, or Myrtle Beach), Washington DC (something educational for the kids), a cruise. We went to Disney on our trip in 2016 so we are looking to do something a little different.

I got a new job. I will be started Tuesday October 2. I will be working in one of our locals schools in the cafeteria. The hours are perfect 9 to 1:30. I will still be able to drop of my kids to school and pick them up in the afternoon. I haven't worked since 2000. I have been a homemaker for 18 years. So I will be doing something for myself and for my family.

My husband got a call yesterday supposedly claiming to be from the IRS. The person had a heavy Indian accent and went as far to tell my husband two different amounts to pay. They even claimed they have taken a warrant out for his arrest. Well needless to say my husband put the person in their place and the person actually hung up on him. Has anyone gotten a call like this?

Our summer is going by fast. My kids start back to school on August 3rd. My oldest will be in 8th grade and my youngest will be in 2nd. When does school start back for your kids?

Has anyone else seen Central Intelligence yet? It started this past Friday. My family and I saw it Saturday evening. I had a really good laugh. I laughed so hard at times I started crying. Very amusing movie.
