With all of the talk about going green, clean coal and so forth.  I am just curious what type of energy source is the cheapest.  Where do you live, what is the energy source where you live, and what was the cost of you last power bill?

Raccoon, Kentucky, Coal, $171.00 for the month of August.  This bill was based on using 1721 kwh.

Off-Topic / Okay... let's talk politics. Health Insurance that is.

There have been several debates about the proposals that Congress has come up with for the health insurance proposal.  I understand that there are problems with health insurance, but I do not believe that it is the core of the problem.  The cost of perscriptions and medical procedures are the problem.  The phramacutical industires is making billions if not close to trillions of dollars from medications, and doctors test you to death and a lot of times you don't need the test.  Sometimes I feel like they are just draining you insurance.  If the proposals include the prices of the products and services that you are purchasing to go down then I am all for it.  As far as the public option, it is a good idea as long as they pay for it from the premiums that people pay for the insurance.  I however do not agree that everyone should be forced to have health insurance.  If you are a healthy person that never has to go to the doctor then why should you have to pay close to 2000.00 per year for example for something that you are never going to use, and even if you do have to go to the doctor the bills would be easier to just pay instead of taking out health insurance.  This is a free country and we should not have to be forced to get health insurance.  What is everyone else opinion on the matter?

I have been on other websites where you get paid for emails that you read.  Maybe that would be a good idea for FC.  Paid emails normally do not pay very much, but it is an easy way to make some extra cash.

Is anyone else tired of listening to the media?  I don't believe what they say half of the time and they report about more stupid stuff than ever.  Did anyone here about them bringing up President Obama killing a fly?  That is the dumbest thing that I have ever hear in my life.  The next thing you are going to here is that flies are endangered.

Off-Topic / How do you cut a 4 year old's hair when he throws a fit?

If there are any moms out there that any suggestions on cutting my 4 year olds hair please help.    I cannot get him to let me cut his hair.  He didn't get a think head of hair until he was about 18 months old, so we were late cutting his hair because he didn't need it cut.  Including his first hair cut, I cannot just sit down or take him to anyone without him throwing a MAJOR fit.  I have to cut his hair in his sleep.  Anyone have any suggestions to make this easier?
