Off-Topic / Surveys?
« on: December 03, 2020, 10:49:14 am »Message ID: 1346242
Is anyone else having trouble with the surveys?  TAP is not on my page at all.  I've been trying to do the other surveys and it took forever to find one I wasn't disqualified for but I was finding some.  Now, it seems they aren't even coming up.  They just keep spinning.  I haven't been able to get a survey for the past couple of days.

I am really missing TAP yesterday and today.  Seems none of the surveys are working.  It just spins and spins and spins, kinda like the liberals, LOL.

Off-Topic / Looking for open state

Well, my husband and I are planning to go to IA next weekend so we can go to church.  It's about a 2 hr drive.  Tired of all this shutdown c-rap for no good reason.  No masks.  And, if there's an OPEN restaurant, meaning we can go in sit down and eat food, we will go to a restaurant too.

Off-Topic / Easter Sunday!

Next week is Easter Sunday.  Thinking maybe I should look into states that are not on lockdown and find a church to go to!

Off-Topic / Time to move to Sweden?
« on: April 05, 2020, 04:55:43 pm »Message ID: 1319853
Sweden actually has enough sense not to shut their country down.  There are a few states that are still not locked down.  Have thought about going there just to be able to go to a restaurant again.  Now, that we have become a nation of snowflakes and shown our enemies how easy it is to shut us down, I am more afraid of that than the virus.

Off-Topic / TAP is back! Yay!

Finally getting credit for Tap surveys again!  This seems to happen every year.  It would be really nice, if our DQ money would count toward our PTC when Tap goes down.  Gets really frustrating trying to earn a measly 5 cents a day to get the PTC credit.

Off-Topic / Tired of the daily death count.
« on: March 28, 2020, 01:59:58 pm »Message ID: 1318488
So, fewer people WORLDWIDE have died of this than die every year of the flu, here, in the US.  So why the daily death count?  Why not a daily flu death count?  Or a daily cancer death count?  Or heart attack.  Or stroke.  There's like a 98% recovery rate but, you never hear that.  Just really, really tired of hearing about this virus and the apocalypse.  Sheesh!  The way the news talks about it, everyone who gets it will die and that isn't true.

Off-Topic / Is anyone doing Keto and how are you doing with it?
« on: January 31, 2020, 08:45:24 pm »Message ID: 1311031
I'm thinking of trying to do keto again.  I've tried before but, I've been reading articles about how it is good for people with COPD and, it would be nice to be able to breathe again.

Off-Topic / I hit a deer
« on: January 14, 2020, 01:25:51 pm »Message ID: 1309053
I was coming home, from a movie, last night, with a friend, and I hit a deer.  It was just there and there was no avoiding it.  I so, so, so hate hitting animals.  There were 2 pieces, on the car, that were damaged.  My husband wants to try to fix it himself.  Problem with replacing parts is painting.  The body shops don't want to pain them for you.  My friend went back that way, today, for another reason, and didn't see it, so, I'm hoping it wasn't hurt too badly and ran off.  UGH!  As much as I hate what happened there was a lot to be thankful for.  I wasn't alone.  The car is drivable.  My granddaughter, who loves animals, wasn't with me.

Off-Topic / Women and hair loss

Are any of you women struggling with hair loss and have you found anything to stop it or slow it down?  I know some hair loss is normal but, handfuls is not.  I've tried so many things and I'm still getting a lot of hair coming out, especially after a shower.

Off-Topic / Old Books and media
« on: October 18, 2019, 11:55:11 am »Message ID: 1297515
Everything is digital these days.  I have old cassette tapes, LOTS of old books, old encyclopedias and they take up a LOT of room in the house.  I hate throwing old books away but I don't know what else to do with them.  I don't know if libraries even want any of that stuff anymore.  I also have lots of old video tapes.   I have a tape player but not sure if it still works so I'm think I should throw those away too.  I just hate getting rid of all the old disney tapes, although, I don't watch them anymore.
