Off-Topic / Re: Are you more able to understand something by reading words, or looking at a pict

I have been reading since I was a child, and I understand words by doing so.  In looking at pictures, I understand less.   :rainbow: :rose:

I have discovered that not all the affiliate sites are bad.  I have not invested a cent, but I earn what I can by clicking.  Good luck.   :moneymouth: :moneymouth: :rainbow: :rose:

Summer is usually my least favorite part of the year because of the heat.  It has been a little change, but this summer is really pleasant.  Enjoy your summer because, after fall, it will soon be winter.   :rainbow: :rose:

Off-Topic / Re: going to see my brother who i haven't seen in 35 years

Please keep us updated on whether the reunion was great or bad.  I hadn't seen my sister in 33 years and finally reunited with her in 2000.  We speak to each other often, and we both went to college at the same university (I majored in Accounting, while she majored in Criminal Justice).  I completed my tenure and earned my Bachelor's and minor degrees, and she dropped out for a while.  Good luck. :female: :female: :male: :rainbow: :rose:

I recall going into a McDonald's and the woman behind the counter was so rude, it was ridiculous.  I went to the Welfare Office and the woman behind the counter was so rude, a person waiting to get serviced said, "If you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, you shouldn't come to work with that attitude!"  Personally, I believe that people wake up and bring their personal problems to work with them.  I would rather be waited on by a person with a nice attitude. :bad: :bad: :bad: :rainbow: :rose:

I ordered a shredder and it is already stuck.  I am cautious about identity theft, so I make sure my credentials are personally erased    :rainbow: :rose:.

I pay my DirecTV, HughesNet and Life Insurance bills by debit card.  We deposit the money onto my card (I am the only one who has debit cards) and I give it a few days before switching money around.  It saves a lot of time.   :rainbow: :rainbow: :rose:

I get annoyed when people like to hog the TV and never give you the chance to watch what you want.  My hubby watches the Westerns and religious channels; I like comedies and movies.  My grandson is a cartoon head and he loves movies as well.  I spend time on my laptop because of it.   :rainbow: :rose:

While I have great and revered love for cats because I had cats around me my whole life, I have a greater love of dogs; they are sweet, loyal and protective. :cat: :cat: :cat: :dog: :dog: :dog: :rainbow: :rose:

With Antenna TV, you have less channels.  Satellite TV is okay until it rains.  I prefer Cable TV.   :rainbow: :rose:

I am a cereal person, so I prefer a cold breakfast Monday thru Friday.  I prefer a hot breakfast during the weekends Saturday and Sunday).  So I have a preference of both at different times.   :rainbow: :rose:

I read a lot, and there are a few authors who changed my way of thinking.  I credit most of my thinking to Les Brown, Reb. Joel Osteen, and T. D. Jakes.   :rainbow: :rose:

Off-Topic / Re: Seriously considering Homeschooling my 8 year old
« on: July 14, 2014, 01:38:40 pm »Message ID: 899570
I would seriously consider homeschooling if I were you.  You are familiar with Asberger's Syndrome and it is more than entirely possible that he would be singled out by a bully.  Children were cruel in my day, but what happens to children today is enough to make you regret any decision of sending your children to school, whether public or private.  I watch the news and I see the things that happens to children.  I would be seriously fearful of sending my child to school with Asberger's Syndrome.
