take yarn and have people cut off as much (length) that they think would go around the Mommy's Belly (or Mommy and Daddy if coed party) and see who gets closest to reaching around the belly. 

I'm sure if you google games for baby shower you'd find other fun things.

we also took Mom's first name and Daddy's first name and see how many other names you could create using the letters of those two names - whoever had the longest list would get a little token/prize

Ummm.. is that a compliment to say you look fat or

if you are not already doing it -- track your basal temperature.  Research it and print the charts on line.  get the special basal temp thermometer and take your temp daily before you get out of bed.  It will give you an idea of what your body is doing.
Have you tried any medications? I had to take metformin to regulate my cycles but worked like a charm for me....

Good luck -- it is SO frustrating when you want a baby so badly..... relax and you will be pleasantly surprised one day

agree- cover them up in a professional setting -- you know someone is judging something. Not saying they should.
I have a LARGE tatoo on my back and my mother nearly had a heart attack when she saw it, but no one at work even has to know it's there! 
I would like one on my ankle but in my job setting I don't think it's appropriate for most to see it so it won't be happenning.

Well... my 5 month old doesn't sleep.
He will be awake 9-10 out of 12 hours during the day. then he will sleep 5 hours and then up every 2-3 hours until 7am.  at 7am he starts his "awake" time and we are lucky if we get him to take a few cat naps until bedtime between 7-8 am

Exhausting!

don't let it bother you too much -- clearly these people have not had the pleasure of being a Mommy yet.

I have 2 little ones and it is a lot of work, clearly more work than I could handle each day which is why I went back to work! 

My husband just recently realized that i still have to get up every 2-3 hours at night for feedings and I still get up to go to work, etc.  I guess he thought our little one (5 months old) was sleeping through the night.... oh the joy of being oblivious to things that happen in your own home in the middle of the night.

YEP -- last Thursday my window got stuck DOWN and we are still having "winter" here --- a bit chilly to have the window down.

My credits are expiring.... since I had a rough pregnancy this summer I haven't cashed out in a few months and now things are expiring. I'm devastated and quickly trying to catch up for lost time before I lose more money.

you are all making me hungry for bagels.... it's been a while since I've had a bagel.  I do like cream cheese, sometimes peanut butter and sometimes just with butter.  Other times I have melted a piece of cheese on top and/or made an egg/cheese sandwich -- yummy.... now thinking about adding this to my grocery list for the weekend

I have AT&T... what type of simple phone might someone recommend?
I need to get a new one soon as mine is having several issues, I rather not have to get one right now, but I do.
I don't want a smart phone (because I don't want to pay for it) and it I just need something that works.  I would like a camera on the phone.

Any recommendations??
