I haven't watched the Super Bowl in ever so many years, but I do get onto YouTube afterwards and watch the advertisements. I hope there's still some good ones this year! :peace:

It just shocks me that anybody buys from these rude telemarketers. Is this still a legitimate business plan? Also, they try so many different local numbers to try to trick you into answering! Do they really think I would buy ANYTHING from people who are so dishonest in their tactics? This is a true and annoying mystery to me!  :peace:

I guess I'm more of an Independent than a Democrat or a Republican. Mostly I don't really share my political views with anyone but my husband, even though he thinks pretty much the opposite of me, LOL! I guess it's just how each person views things from their life's viewpoint. I do agree with tantricia44 about a strong middle-ground party, but the ones we've had so far have been pretty ineffective against both the Democrat Party and the Republican Party at voting time. JMHO.  :peace: :peace: :peace:

I think that time management does help some people be more organized and/or effective. I know that my little method of time management has helped me greatly over the past few years. However, I also know that some people don't need time management methods to help them succeed and that some people don't succeed even with time management methods. So I guess it just depends on the person and the method.  :peace:

Yay for September!!! That means that the humid summer days here in Georgia will start to dwindle down and the cool autumn weather will soon arrive! Thank you for such a cheery post!  :peace:

As long as I still see "pending" and not "rejected" for my June and July forum posting bonus on my account, I hold out hope that one day the bonus pay will come. I have always found that Fusion Cash, while definitely a slow burn to make money on, is always faithful to pay what they say they will pay.  :peace:

Yeah, I know what you mean. I get very nervous when I see someone riding a bull in a rodeo or something like that. I also hate stock car racing for that very same reason. I know fatal accidents are few and far between in stock car racing, but I always get anxious watching it for fear that I'll witness something terrible happen that I'll never forget.  :peace:

Yes, I've used 1-800-Got Junk several years ago to take a bunch of stuff (junk) away. I think at the time it was one price to take everything, but it was kind of pricey. I think they may charge for the amount of stuff you enter into the tool on their website now, but I'm not sure about that. Regardless, it was just a relief to get the junk out of here, and the guys who hauled the stuff away were very nice and professional.  :peace:

Yes, that annoys heck out of me and seems so disrespectful! But it doesn't really matter that much to me, I guess, because I inevitably disqualify out within a minute or two and at least get my penny (Tap Surveys).  :peace:

I didn't even know there were sugar-free cake mixes or, for that matter, sugar-free chocolate chips! Well, I guess you learn something new every day, LOL!. Your recipe sounds really good. Sometimes it's surprising how good low-carb sweets can be!

Wow, that was kind of a blast from the past! I remember the jokes on Popsicle sticks! I'm glad to hear that they're still doing that. We all need a little levity at this point in time.  :peace:

We are having Cauliflower and chickpea masala tonight. My sons love love love Indian food, so we make some kind of Indian food almost every week. Just to let you know, the recipe is on Budget Bytes, and it's pretty easy to make. We get a lot of recipes from Beth on Budget Bytes, LOL!  :peace:

We made something new tonight! It was Tuscan white bean pasta (budgetbytes.com). It has pasta, cannellini beans, baby spinach, grape tomatoes, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and bacon at the table for a topper. Wow, it was fantastic! We'll definitely be making that again!  :peace:

Off-Topic / Re: What do you do when you want to get off the phone?
« on: August 24, 2020, 02:53:23 pm »Message ID: 1336942
I've used the "I've got to go" excuse a few times back in the days when I used to answer the phone, LOL! I even had a relative one time just ignore my "I've got to go" excuse, so I had to make signals to my husband to say out loud, "Honey, I need to use the phone," so that the relative would hear it and finally let me go. That probably wouldn't work these days since everybody has their own cell phone!  :peace:

Happy birthday, debidoo! Hope you have a wonderful one! I'll turn 59 in December, but it doesn't bother me getting older, because it's better than the alternative! I wouldn't be 21 again for anything. Other than the age I was when I first got married and then the age I was when my kids were babies, there's been no age as good to me as this one!  :peace:
