I plan to incorporate working out into the mix because that is probably the #1 reason why I have been stagnant.

I would say focus on getting more work from home gigs so you can save more for a car.

I look at it this way - if you are barely scraping by as it is, you're going to have a harder time keeping up with the maintenance, insurance, keeping gas in it once you do get a car.

Just my two cents.

I would talk to the management or get in touch with the corporate office. I did the latter recently and corporate called down to the store manager and the manager called me to apologize. Don't underestimate the power you have as a consumer!

I heard about it - and it's unfortunate.

Back in the day, performers rarely sang live (unless it was a concert) - it was all recorded.

If you look at performances of performers in the 80's and before, you will see that nearly most lip synched to their recorded music.

And Mariah's mishap is probably one of the reasons why a lot of performers did it that way back then.

I have a Gazelle, which is kinda like an elliptical, that has been gathering dust for quite some time. I'm sucker for infomercials - which is why I try not to watch them.

I'm a fan of pumpkin pie! Actually I heard people rave about Costco's pumpkin pie  and so I bought one for X-mas last year and it was actually pretty good.

Yep, you should find a low cost alternative for some of your expenses if you can (i.e. cell phone service provider, etc...)

I have worked many jobs as a temp many years ago and I can't count the number of times I've had agencies say one thing but do another.

I had a few bouts of food poisoning a while back and it was definitely scary. People die all the time from food poisoning.

I too have their scented hand sanitizer in my purse. In fact, they were on sale and I bought half-a-dozen of them. If you have a sensitive nose, then you may want to stick to the traditional kind, but for me these scents are invigorating!

I've had one once or twice this year. I like mine from Dairy Queen with hot fudge, strawberry, and carmel. Their pineapple topping is too tart and not sweet at all.  Since I'm cutting back on my sugar, I'm not likely to have another one til next year :-(
