I’m sorry to hear that. According to Quaker Oats, they have recalled several of their granola products due to the potential risk of salmonella contamination 123. It is advisable to check your pantry and discard any of the affected products.

Stay safe and healthy!

December 15, 2023 – The Quaker Oats Company today announced the recall of specific granola bars and granola cereals listed below because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be *bleep*), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.

Empower Brands has recalled more than 300,000 air fryers because of a problem with a U-Channel connector that combines the two fry baskets found in these dual-basket models. The connector can break as you’re using it and pose a burn hazard.

Tesla tweaks autopilot software after regulators recall more than 2 million cars

Tesla is recalling more than 2 million vehicles over concerns that drivers can too easily misuse the cars’ Autosteer features within Autopilot, according to regulatory filings posted Wednesday.
The NHTSA found that in some circumstances where a feature called Autosteer is in use, “there may be an increased risk of a collision.”

Feds Propose Shooting One Owl to Save Another in Pacific Northwest

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service wants hunters to shoot more than 500,000 barred owls

As part of a draft management plan, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) wants to cull these invasive owls, and hopes to enlist hunters to shoot half a million of them over the next 30 years.

Barred owls have been in the Pacific Northwest since the 1950s, and they now outnumber northern spotted owls across Washington, Oregon and California. They pose such a threat to northern spotted owls as they are more aggressive and have a more varied diet, eating anything from insects and amphibians to fish and other birds. They are also larger and more territorial than the native owls, meaning that they displace the northern spotted owls, disrupting their nesting, competing with them for food, and even attacking them when they come too close.

Experts are confident that this program will successfully protect the spotted owls, however, as studies have found that killing barred owls stabilized spotted owl populations. The management plan hopes to only eradicate around 30 percent of the total barred owl population, which should be enough to take the pressure off the spotted owls.

"We know we can't fully eradicate them, but we know we can create [refuge] areas with much lower barred owl density that allows spotted owls to survive and thrive," Kessina Lee, state supervisor for the Oregon office of FWS, told the Seattle Times.

From Tellwut:

6th of December is the day when some people celebrate Saint Nicholas. Originally a Greek bishop in Myra (now Demre, Turkey) around 4th century AD, he was known for performing miracles and acts of kindness. Some myths also tie him to the origin of Santa Clause

True and it only gets worse during the holidays so prepare for that, work a little longer on these sites before Christmas so when the surveys quit till New Years, we can say we've earned the same amount of money.

One more time FOR THE NEWBIES:

For our newbies, here's a link and a copy of the TOS.  The topic was locked so I'm restarting for reference.

https://www.fusioncash.net/tos.php

    Start your membership here!!!

Payment Minimum. In order to be paid, you must have a balance of $25.00 or more, and $15.00 or more of that balance must consist of Non-Bonus credits as defined in section III.C.ii.

Keep posting this so a copy is handy for the newbies, I had to go look for some of these!!!

Check with Support if you have any questions, Before you post something and for Updates to these " Rules "

This thread is THE final say in everything and anything related to the usage of the FusionCash forum. Since following the rules for some is a harder task than what it should be, I am going to break down all the rules for you.

1. Observe the golden rule -- Treat others as you would like to be treated

This one is pretty obvious. This means NO flaming, NO derogatory remarks to other members or staff. I know it is an online forum, but behind everyone's screen name is a real human with real feelings. So please respect everyone, even if you do not agree with them, or get along with them.

What if I break this rule? You will be banned for a minimum of 14 days and in a severe case your FusionCash account will be closed and all money will be forfeited.

2. Respect our advertisers -- Do not discuss cancellation or post disparaging remarks

This is a big one. We rely on the relationship between ourselves and the advertisers and companies we work with to be able to bring you the best offers that are out there. We need our members to understand that the advertisers are paying you to be a member. Please do offers that you are interested in, and not just do them because it has a 20 dollar payout. I hear people all the time whining about an offer that did not credit, but if they were truly interested in the offer it would not be that big of a deal because they wanted the product/service to begin with and the cash they get back from that is just something on the side. As long as you respect our advertisers, you may state your honest opinion of them – saying "This offer sucks!" or "This offer is a scam!" is not an honest opinion since it is speaking  out of anger.

What if I break this rule? You will be banned for a minimum of 7 days.

3. Do not paste links to other sites -- This means no referral links whatsoever - even in private messages

A rule that should probably be number one or number two on the list, because it seems to the be the one most broken. This forum is for FusionCash, not for you to see how many people you can get to your other site that you make money off of. It is not a forum for you to spam your link to your store, candle selling site, or any other site that you can make money off of others. If it is a video on YouTube, or a news story you wish to share with us, by all means share your link. If it is your own personal webpage with NO REFERRAL LINKS on the site, then please share it. We do not need people sharing links that contains links to other sites where the original poster can gain money from other members. Any link found that contains referral links will be taken down immediately, and the poster will be promptly banned. If you have a link and you are unsure if you can post it, please send in a support ticket or an email to support@fusioncash.com and I will be more than happy to look it over and let you know.

What if I break this rule? You will be banned for a minimum of 7 days.

4. Understand that we cannot filter all of the content on the forums, so you may read or see something you don't like.

This isn't so much a rule as the others. We do believe in free speech, so if someone doesn't like the color purple and purple is your favorite color – sorry. We are not going to mute people's opinion of us or other subjects. Be respectful, observe the golden rule, and know that everyone is not going to share the same view you have.

What if I break this rule? You will be banned for a minimum of 14 days.

REMEMBER: Your use of the forums is a privilege, not a right, and we may revoke your access at any time and for any reason.
Here is a quote from the T.O.S. Agreement  ............  logging into your FC account: Users must log in and use  ............  on their own personal computer and internet connection only. The use of a FusionCash  ............  on a public or shared computer, or public internet connection is grounds for disqualification.  ............  your FusionCash account on the same computer or internet connection as your referrer, referral, or  ............  grounds for disqualification of any and all users involved. ......

We advise that you just use FC from home.  With that said, you can use a friends' private connection like you described, however, that friend (and anyone else living there) will not be able to use FC as long as they live there.  So you (and them) should be quite sure about that before you login.
