I don't understand why it wouldn't be accepted and appreciated.  It's the thought that counts and the time you put into thinking about what he would like.

We named our daughter Semira.  Doubt she'll have other girls with the same name in her classes.

It seems like reading an actual book is becoming a lost art

I try to read a little bit everyday

Whether a magazine or Novel

Just got thru reading Lonesome Dove

Again

Lost count how many times I've read this Novel

Does anyone else RE-Read books?
Favorites?

I re-read all mine.  There are a few favorites that I've had to replace, they're so ratty from use.  Others I'll re-read for lack of any new material.

I have a son and a step-son.  When I married my husband, I could absolutely not wait to have another..hoping it was a girl.
We got our wish and I love her soo very much but she is a trial.  My son and SS were soo much easier at her age.
I wouldn't trade it for anything, though....definitely gives me a lesson in being patient everyday.

We thought we heard a ghost today.  Small footsteps, a light flicked on, and the door shut.....turned out my daughter climbed out of her crib and down the stairs  :bootyshake:

I'm a skeptical believer.  I definitely want to believe but it's hard without proof that I have seen firsthand.

I read everything.  I'm a sucker for historical romances, I love anything history related..just recently finished the whatifs of American history.
I am not into sci-fi but will occasionally suck up a fantasy.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it.
It completely f'd up my Blackberry.  I did end up getting a $5 amazon GC from the online site but it's messing up my phone and I can't even delete it.

I canceled this membership after signing up a few years ago because I wasn't happy with the service, I didn't find it difficult at all.  It's been...three years?..and I'm still getting fliers saying they want me back but other than that, as long as you have fulfilled your user commitment (bought the specified amount of books) you shouldn't have a problem.

:)  I used to read books...not anymore because I find them boring and time consuming...a total waste of my personal time. Libraries fine you if you return them late...I have better things too do with my time. Now I read sypnoses (summaries) of books if I find them to know what these books are all about.
Sorry, but I find that a very sad attitude. No judgement or anything, but I just can't imagine finding books or reading a waste of personal time.
