Word Chains & Countdowns / Re: daughters

I apologize for your loss and send my condolences, I have a brilliant little girl who turns 4 years old today and if anything ever happened to her I would not no how to go on about life. She and my wife (her mom) are my world. They do not know how much they mean to me but I try everyday to express how much they mean to my health and also my well-being. i know this is a little bit off your topic of remembering your daughter in a memorial type way but my best advice is to take one day at a time and don't dwell on negative thoughts but celebrate the uplifting moments that you had with your loving angel while you were able to have her in your life and now be grateful that the time spent was mostly good, and also know that she is smiling down on you and watching out for you!

At the moment I am a stay-at-home dad/full time college student... so I enjoy keeping my family safe as well as learning some new things everyday. The pay is not exactly the greatest for monetary gain but the living and learning is extraordinary. I also have FC to thank and for helping with the offset of finances. (Although the money isn't a get rich quick scheme it does help out)

Off-Topic / Re: If you had million dollars what would you do?

If I were a millionaire: I would most certainly buy a house, pay off debts that my wife and I owe, set up a real college fund for my daughter. Use some for necessities, invest part of it and bank the rest in hopes of gaining some interest to live off of instead of blowing it all on useless stuff!

Off-Topic / Re: affordable care act

First let me state the fact of the moment: Healthcare is expensive! I have not signed up yet but when I have probably more time to wait on a slow inaccurate system to figure out if it wants to work or not is when I will sign up. There may have been a few actually sign up by now but when your first day number of acceptance was 6 signed up I knew at that point we as Americans were in some serious trouble. I am a college student who in the long run may benefit but at this time it would probably be a waste of time and resources in trying to get on the site only to have the service interruptions that come with a poorly designed and legally bound contractual obligation such as the affordable care act. In my opinion that should have been an option for those without any type of insurance not a MUST have regulation for those who already had insurance. There are people who are losing the insurance they had and cannot afford the supposed "affordable care act"

Haven't had the flu shot in several years and haven't had the flu since not getting the shot. Not saying that one shouldn't get the shot just saying I haven't needed the shot so therefore I don't get it!

Off-Topic / Re: How long do you spend time watching T.V. in a week?
« on: November 08, 2013, 12:29:53 pm »Message ID: 815919
It probably sounds weird coming from a 30's something guy but honestly I could live without watching television. My daughter on the other hand may not be able to live without t.v. So to answer the question 10 hours a week in most cases!
