This is sort of unrelated, but I just realized that i am not big on icecream any more. I used to love it! I really have no interest in icre cream in the winter months. I have sort of become plain jane about it. I like vanilla with hot fudge and that is about it.

I have a 40 mile drive one way. I swear i feel like i take my life in my hands every time i do it. I am dodging people who are distracted and driving crazy, the whole commute. I was actually rear ended last week! some dummy just ran smack into the back of me. Never hit his brakes! I was at a red light, jut sitting. My car is totaled, I am stressed and in pain. Ruined all of my christmas plans. Needless to say, i am going to buy a tank for my commute!  :silly:

I own (mortgage) my house. It is a single family dwelling on a half acre. I need to sell but am underwater in it. I would like to shorten my commute.

I have a lot of friends but what i find are issues with them having families, children, etc. I do not have these so it is hard to be at the same lifestlye place.

i also have a few of the cant get it together type friends who i probably couldnt count on if needed.

Dont have in my state, so not able to play. I have driven to a neighboring state when the numbers get ridiculously high. If i win a few bucks, it isnt worth the drive to claim it.

I have heard that docs are now leaning more towards ice. The way i understood it basically is that heat is inflammatory, makes blood go to the area, exacerbates pain, etc. I dont know though, i always lean towards heat when i am sore, maybe i have been doing it wrong all these years.
maybe you should try alternating ice and heat.

We have a White Christmas because we have had snow for weeks.  Today, however, we are having a THUNDER Shower and Rain.  And it is VERY WINDY!!!

That sounds pretty awful for the holiday! Stay safe.
