Goes back to "Not my life. Not my business."

Lazy, apathetic response.   It's akin to someone turning a blind eye to a black person not being served at a diner.

I am opposed to gay marriage.  To me marriage is between a man and a woman.  I also have friends that are gay.. I don't agree with their lifestyle but I don't hate them either.  I love them and I pray for them!

6,000 years or 4.54 billion years?

Quick bump.... just curious...  Does anyone that knows the Earth is more than 6,000 years old have an argument against same sex marriage?

ummmmm  it's not a questions of CAN... it is WHEN. Humans have been here roughly 200,000 years, and of those years only about 50,000 years with behavioral modernity.  That may sound like a long time but the earth is 4.54 billions years old.   Humans have been on Earth about 0.00001% of the Earth's existence.  Yes, humans will eventually become extinct.

There will be another Ice age in 50,000 years or an asteroid will hit the Earth, or the Sun will burn out.   Will humans become extinct in our lifetime? No?  Our great, great, great, great, great, great grandchildren's lifetime? No.  Eventually? Yes.

I'm assuming this thread was started by a nine year old. I thought you had to be 13 to be on this site?

What to do with tax money, how much to tax, when a fetus becomes a person, how many bullets a gun can hold are all thing that can be debated.  Treating everyone like a human being is not.

Your CHURCH doesn't have to allow gay people to get married.  Your government should.  If you do not agree with this you are wrong.  This is not an opinion.  When you throw a ball in the air it comes down because of gravity. That is not an opinion.

I don't think we are becoming MORE violent and torturous as a society. Ever hear the phrase "going Medievil" on someone?

This forum has some of the least intelligent people I have come across on the internet and that is saying something.  But I guess that a collection of people who click on ads for pennies can't be expected to have enough intelligence to put together an original or heck, even accurate debate.

Sorry but what crawled up your A$$?

Am I wrong?

Sorry guys, but as much as you want the colored feller to be the anti-christ, it just isn't true.

Historically, he will probably be ranked in the late teens/early 20's as far as Presidents go.   There have been some worse, some better.  You REALLY think he was worse than Warren G. Harding?

HOW DO WE KNOW HE HEADED BACK TO HIS TRUCK? WHO SAID OTHER THAN HIM THE YOUNG MAN ATTACKED HIM? HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED? BECAUSE ZIMMERMAN SAID SO? HOW DO ANY ONE KNOW THAT ZIMMERMAN DID NOT DO THIS INJURIES TO HIMSELF TO CLAIM SELF DEFENSE AGAINST A UNARMED TEEN. AFTER ALL HE IS A PROCLAIMED LIAR.
Yeah and then I found this >>> Christian Radio Host Burns O.J. Simpson Memorabilia “We had a bit of a bonfire going there at the L.A. courthouse,” said Bob Enyart in regards to the burning of several O.J. Simpson articles, on Wednesday, February 17, 1999. The burning of the auctioned O.J. memorabilia was reported across the United States, Canada, and the BBC. In a 48-hour period a band of ten individuals wearing black ShadowGov.com t-shirts turned the L.A. courthouse upside down and generated a media frenzy.  Wow You failed to add this of that radio host. See how people leave things out so easily.

Ummm.. this happened in 1999. Do you know what year the O.J. verdict was rendered?
