I tried to do this FC survey titled: ketankumarsingh survey

I didn't know what the word meant, but I thought I'd give it try.

I got a OOPS!  Something went wrong message when I clicked it.

I didn't get to learn more about ketankumarsingh, but I did get a DQ $0.01

My Energy company had an insert in my monthly statement offering complimentary energy efficiency products.

I ordered some weather stripping, rope caulk sealant, window film kit, and energy-saving shower heads.

Our rental house needs some winterizing!

Off-Topic / Facebook Marketplace
« on: March 31, 2019, 03:35:27 pm »Message ID: 1268522
Has anyone used Facebook Marketplace to sell items of yours OR Bought items that other people put up for sale?

I have done both.  I sold the baby crib a few years back once all the kids said they were not interested in it.

Recently I have purchased a Lazy-Boy Recliner and a Recycling Center cabinet.

It is fun to browse through Facebook Marketplace.  There are quite a few great finds on it.!

Off-Topic / Where did the years go?

Well, yesterday my first born turned FORTY!!!

I don't feel a day over 40 myself, so having a child celebrate her 40th birthday is kind of weird!

We celebrated her birthday a week ago with a party.  Yesterday, she and her boyfriend helped my husband and I move.  Grateful for the extra hands and strong backs of the boyfriend and some of his buddies who came to help.

The forecast in my area of southwestern Minnesota has shifted from Blizzards and Winter Storm Alerts with huge snowfall amounts and winds to FLOOD Watches and FOG Advisories.

But then, tomorrow, Thursday we are bracing for another Winter Storm Watch with Blizzard conditions.

Off-Topic / Boxing Up
« on: February 16, 2019, 06:35:35 am »Message ID: 1261834
After living in our home for 30+ years, we are downsizing.  I am boxing up every room.....room by room.

I have been taking pictures of items that I know I will not have room for.  I am sending the pictures to the kids in a group message.  I have a notebook with items "up for grab" and each child replies if they have an interest in it AND if they do not have an interest in the item/s.

Sweet memories

Off-Topic / Baby, It's Cold Outside!
« on: January 24, 2019, 06:07:13 pm »Message ID: 1258292
We are in a winter weather advisory again.....this time a Wind Chill Advisory.

It's COLD.

Temperature is -11.
The "real feel" is -26.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.

The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Off-Topic / CRVO
« on: December 20, 2018, 05:12:03 pm »Message ID: 1252621
Has anyone ever heard of CRVO?  I had some blurry vision a few days ago and got it checked out.

CRVO stands for Central Retinal Vein Occlusion which is the big name describing a common retinal vascular disorder.

In simple terms, the retinal vein has some leaks (hemorrhages).  Some vision loss can be a result...if not treated, pretty much assured.

I will see a retinal specialist on Monday to see what can be done.

Support / Picture Bonus Request Still Pending
« on: November 21, 2018, 05:02:43 pm »Message ID: 1248042
I wanted to request the Picture Bonus for my latest cashout.   However, when I went to do this request I discovered that I have a PENDING request from 9-10-18 (Cashout ID120632)
Therefore, I am not able to request the Picture Bonus for my cash out that was just received in November.

Is it normal for the request to still be pending since September?

Off-Topic / I am Not Ready for This
« on: November 03, 2018, 05:05:21 pm »Message ID: 1245459
When doing a survey today, I was asked for my Gender.
There were THREE choices;  Male
                                          Female
                                          Other

I guess I am old fashioned.....I am just not ready for this "OTHER" category.

Payments / Reached $15 in Offers and $60 Total
« on: October 26, 2018, 02:03:33 pm »Message ID: 1244008
I found it interesting that just as I reached my $15.00 in Offers, my Balance reached an even $60.00.  I cashed out!

I also think it is kind of neat when my groceries add up to an even number.  What are the odds that the random items in my cart will total an even $40.00 or other even number.
