Our kids are all married.  Grandkids don't live in town, so probably will watch tv and hope the town allows the kids in town to go Trick or Treating.

I think there's a day for everything.  I only drink coffee when it's cold because it warms me up inside.

I agree it seems there is a day for everything.  I enjoy coffee with flavoring of some kind in it....not just black.

I pay my bills online, but I still like receiving my paper statement.  I feel guilty whenever the GO GREEN or Make a Smaller Footprint ad shows up.  I guess it is time to go paperless.

I live in southwestern Minnesota.  I lost my annual flowers in my hanging pots.

The trees are beautiful but that still doesn't make me like Fall as much as most people seem to like Fall.  I've had to wear a coat, not just a sweatshirt, the past few days.  I hope it warms back up again so I can get outside to hike in the fall colors.

We had a FROST ADVISORY overnight and it supposed to end at 8am today.
It is currently just 32 degrees out at 6:30am.

I didn't cover any flowers this time so I guess they will be done for now.

I am glad you were able to vote in person at your courthouse.  I like your Bonus pen.  I guess free pens will be the ticket this year so someone isn't having to wash/sanitize the pens in each polling station after each voter.

I haven't ever done a phone call survey and don't expect to.  The original post says a 30 minute phone survey would pay out $50?  That seems unreasonable.

This is year has been the worst for me getting bit by those little black bugs.....some call them No-See-Ums.

If I step outside the door, I get attacked!  We actually had a swarm of them by our back door.  My son used bug spray and thousands fell. 
Some, however, crawled through the cracks and are actually inside my house.  Luckily they have been just staying on the window, so I have been able to kill these guys too.
