Off-Topic / Pet Adoption from Shelters
« on: July 31, 2012, 10:40:04 pm »Message ID: 580027
We know buying a puppy from a pet store is not a great deal. To all FC pet owners who adopted dogs or cats from the shelter…   :cat: how much did it cost you to take home your beloved pet?  :dog:

Do you often hear birds singing and chirping near your home? I can hear them in the morning around 8 am and during sunset after 7 pm.  :)

Off-Topic / SSN #

If you were to fill out a job application and it asked for your SSN, would you give it? I did once before, but now I feel reluctant to give it in the future unless I know I will be hired.

Off-Topic / Siblings

Are there any FC female members here who is the only girl and youngest in the family of boys? If so, are they protective of you? Do you get along well with them?  :)

I’m not, because I’m the oldest child (sister) with one younger sibling (brother).

Off-Topic / Pumping gas...
« on: May 20, 2012, 09:02:31 pm »Message ID: 540606
How many times do you go pump gas at the gas station? I have to go at least once a week. If I am running errands, then it would be twice a week. I’m already living frugally for gas.  :sad1:

Off-Topic / Do you still purchase DVDs and CDs?
« on: April 02, 2012, 11:18:24 am »Message ID: 514469
Blu-rays and iTunes or anything similar to that are pretty much the standard nowadays. It seems to me that DVDs and CDs are slowly becoming obsolete like their VHS and cassette tape predecessor. The last time I bought a DVD boxset was probably around 3 years ago. Do you remember when you last bought a DVD or CD?

Off-Topic / What kind of salt do you use?
« on: March 13, 2012, 05:01:21 pm »Message ID: 504851
What kind of salt do you use when you cook or bake? I rarely use common table iodize salt like Morton’s because they are chemically processed. I used to use Redmond Real Sea Salt but have switched to using Himalayan natural rock salt. I would have continued to use Redmond Real if I haven’t lost it in the kitchen cabinet.

Off-Topic / Lost Cell-Phone
« on: February 06, 2012, 06:02:18 pm »Message ID: 486666
I know some men are more prone to losing their cell-phone within a year. Unlike the ladies who carry their own purse or handbag, have you ever lost your cell phone a number of times when you place them on the pocket of your pants or simply misplaced them?

Off-Topic / Your driving posture?
« on: February 02, 2012, 11:49:30 pm »Message ID: 484633
How near or how far do you sit close to the steering wheel when you’re driving? When I get behind the wheel of my older female friend/relative’s car, their seat is set too close to the steering wheel it’s like sitting on a small chair w/ both hands hanging onto the wheel.  I often have to adjust the length of the seat and recliner a little further back for comfort. I seriously need room to stretch my legs and arms. It’s not that I’m much taller than they are, but I simply cannot stand sitting so close to the steering wheel in such an unnatural, restricted position.  :confused1:

Off-Topic / Do you remember your first Christmas song as a child?
« on: December 24, 2011, 12:58:41 am »Message ID: 464930
I did. When I was in the first grade, my teacher led and taught our class how to sing Jingle Bells. My classmates and I lined up on the stage while some of us shook sleigh bells and we sang our heart out.  Great childhood memories filled with fun. Merry Christmas and have a Safe Blessed Happy Holiday!

Off-Topic / Payment method at the Gas Station
« on: October 15, 2011, 11:51:24 pm »Message ID: 432885
Do you pay by ATM/Debit, credit card, or by cash? I usually pay by cash everytime I pump at the gas station. On a rare occasion I paid with my debit card when I didn’t have enough cash on my pocket.

Off-Topic / What do you prefer to do in the weekends?
« on: June 30, 2011, 12:43:06 am »Message ID: 376748
Do you usually go out from Friday night to Sunday or do you stay home and relax during the weekend? I tend to see more people hang out at restaurants, clubs, at the cinema, and other locations with entertainment on Friday & Saturday evenings. I am more of an indoor person who prefer to stay home and relax and then go out to do what is necessary after I am well rested.

Off-Topic / Which side of your ear do you listen to most?
« on: June 06, 2011, 11:30:01 pm »Message ID: 366623
I tend to listen on my left ear whenever I’m on the phone. I am trying to train myself to listen to calls on my right ear.

« on: June 06, 2011, 11:29:04 pm »Message ID: 366622
What are you plans for July 4th? I will be spending the day attending an annual convention with a friend during the day and in the evening I will be hiking with a group of hikers up in the mountain to see some fireworks on top.
