Off-Topic / Bumper Stickers!
« on: March 28, 2011, 05:57:37 pm »Message ID: 332035
Do you have any bumper sticker(s) on your car? Some common ones are “My child is student of the month from ______ School,” “AAA,” “AIDS Awareness,”etc. I recently stuck one (S.O.S. Be Vegan/Vegetarian to Save the Planet) on the rear of my bumper. I feel a sense of joy for displaying it for a worthy cause; it’s pretty and colorful because it attracts attention to get the message across like a free billboard. I already received a response from one man while I pumped gas at the gas station on the first day.  :) :peace:

Off-Topic / Do you often times find yourself short on time in the morning?
« on: March 18, 2011, 12:27:28 am »Message ID: 327486
I do almost every morning. I feel my life would be cut short if I constantly have to rush myself to beat the time. Five minutes tick by like 5 seconds.

Off-Topic / Traveling on the road
« on: February 21, 2011, 04:18:28 pm »Message ID: 316415
Sometimes I hear this statement, but how true is it? ??? Men don’t ask for directions, and women do. Which are you? I am habitually self-reliant on the road so I rarely ask for directions. I usually do research and rely on the map. I typically carry one in the car with me at all times when I travel to new locations. The only time I will ask for directions is after finding out the given directions are outdated.

Off-Topic / Can you go a day without food?
« on: February 13, 2011, 11:59:13 pm »Message ID: 313593
I can go 1-2 days with very little or no nourishment. I have even gone a week with little or without food before. When I am less active, I am hardly hungry at all. Even when I am in active mode, the body is smart and knows how to conserve and burn calories for energy. I can go a day without food, but not water. Eating once a day is good enough for me and anything more than that becomes a burden for me. Breatharians are the most amazing people I know.  :) They do not need to eat nor drink. They just feed on oxygen, the natural Sun, cosmic energy and the like.

Off-Topic / If you can choose...

Would you rather pick a job that you love with modest pay or would you work on a job you hate with a better wages? I would much rather work on a job that I enjoy for lower wages.  :peace:

Off-Topic / GPS Navigator – Do you own one?
« on: January 07, 2011, 11:41:19 pm »Message ID: 296033
Technology can be both good and bad; it can make your life easier, but on the other hand it can also make your life complex. The invention of the GPS Navigator have the same potential to cause accidents like cell phones. I heard they can really freeze up if you shift your focus away long enough, an accident may occur. :sad1:  I don’t have the need to own one because I prefer to rely on my own sense of direction along with my Thomas Guide. Last year when I carpooled with my friends who owned a GPS, I noticed the given directions can be quite confusing to follow. :BangHead: So bottom line is, everyone who uses a GPS on a regular basis should use it with caution.

Off-Topic / Do you handwash your car or take it out to a carwash?
« on: September 04, 2010, 05:51:45 pm »Message ID: 232451
If you have extra money to spare, it is nice and convenient to take your car to a carwash and let someone clean it for you spic and span. It’s not a difficult job. I usually prefer to hand wash my car at home to save $$.  :)

Has anyone ever downloaded and used this free kindle application from Amazon.com? If so, would you recommend it to others?  I'm thinking about getting one and I am open to any suggestions.
