Off-Topic / Re: Crossing your legs.

I don't see why crossing you're legs would be unprofessional, posture is one thing, but who would be looking at another persons legs in a professional setting anyway?

I want to smack the fusion cash person that rejected me for the 3 dollar post saying most of my posts were short and I should contribute more when although half were fairly short the other half were paragraphs long.   :dontknow:

Debate & Discuss / Re: sex is great

Wrong forum area for this. Proceed to Off-topic.

I disagree. Sex can be a debatable topic.  It definitely falls into the taboo territory (part of life that is not talked about) which often times results in debates.

I don't see the use of desktops when laptops do exactly the same thing.  The only difference is that laptops are more portable and I don't see how that could be a bad thing.

I use to go to restaurants that I could recognize, but I've started to enjoy exploring restaurants that I've never been too.  I don't do it often, but when I don it usually turns out to be a great experience.  If anyone plans to or lives in Denver they should definitely check out Nona's on Leetsdale and I think Exposition, the area is a bit dainty, but the food there is absolutely to die for!

Thank you so much for all the advice. I'm not very confident, but I believe I'm qualified. I just need to gain that confidence back and follow your advice.

Thanks to all of you!

That's the spirit!  I use to feel that way too, but if you keep at it and be proactive eventually you'll get that call back.

Off-Topic / Re: Depression? Does any onyone have or had? How are you treating yoursef or treated
« on: November 17, 2010, 10:39:41 am »Message ID: 270608
I didn't treat it and I kind of just came out of it.  It helps to be active and to build relationships with people (get a job, join cubs, etc. so that life seems more meaningful than the four walls enveloping you in darkness).  But, even though I say I've come out, the feelings from that time still linger.  It's like a wound. It takes forever to heal and it leaves a scar that at times is always there as a reminder while other times it's invisible like it was never even there.

Off-Topic / Re: Friends w/ your EX-HUSBAND OR EXBF?
« on: November 17, 2010, 10:25:14 am »Message ID: 270599
I don't see why not.  They broke up for a reason and breaking up usually entitles not wanting to be together.  The fact that the current partner doesn't like them being friends just means that there are some insecurities in the relationship that need to be dealt with.  Also, for the guy or gal to be friends with their previous partner is the best way to test his love.  Will he stay devoted or will he go back into the arms of his former lover?

When it gets cold.  The air is a lot thinner and it makes breathing more difficult.

I don't think it has gotten worse, I think bullying is now more visible with new technologies.
