Oddly enough, I really like Quaker Oatmeal Squares.  They are surprisingly delicious.

My wife was 23 when we got married (I was 26).  She said she felt young to be getting married, but at the same time, we were definitely ready.  We'd been dating or engaged for over four years.  It's all up to the individual.

I like "papel higienico" which means toilet paper.  Higienico is pronounced "E-hee-en-ee-co."

Off-Topic / Re: What is your favorite doughnut? And WHY?

Harrison Bakery Glazed.  Only a Syracuse, New York thing.  Best doughnuts...hands down.  No other doughnuts compare the this century long family business.

IF i had to compare, dunkin doughduts come somewhat close.

Krispey Kreme sucks, thin, nothing to them, piece of crap ''''doughnuts'''

hence them not doing good in CNY cause they suck and CNY knows good doughnuts.

Um, you need to get to Winona, MN and try a Bloedow's doughnut.  Easily the best doughnut I've ever had.  Also a family-run business.  In fact, Krispy Kreme no longer sells doughnuts in Winona (they tried for about a year) because everyone eats only Bloedow's.

Off-Topic / Re: Do You Tell Your Kids There is a Santa Clause?
« on: December 14, 2009, 09:32:59 pm »Message ID: 119555
I think there's value in allowing kids to have the illusion of Santa.  It's a magical time in your life believing it is true.  True, it's a tough blow when you find out your parents were lying, but kids are resilient.  I remember getting over it quickly when my mom offered me the chance to help her out being Santa for my younger sister.

People nowadays get too worried about this topic.  It's part of being a kid.
