Depends on what you are going for.  Coffee or a BigMac.  Mcdonalds.  Burgar king for a whopper.  Burgar king used to be my favorite, but not anymore.  They both are about the same, but way better than wendy's

  It used to happen around here alot.  I think that they are for some reason required to seek new applicants even if they aren't hiring.  Maybe it's a just incase thing.  They have a back up plan if they let someone go.  Also there was a time when a few of the places in this area you really needed to know someone that worked there to get hired, that way the company could keep out certain types of people and not risk law suits.  So yes, I think companies play games like that.  I still would call back or check up on my applications.

I like both and we make a cheeseburger pizza, has lettuce, pickle, and onion.  Tastes great.  Most of the time I would just love a good ole fashioned hamburger.
