I wish I could vacation twice a year. I went this year for the first time since 2008 and it was long overdue. I could use another one.

Yes when my son dad and I was still together he kept saying his tank was low yet he bypassed all possible gas stations. We end up going down this road that would have no stores, no gas station, nothing at all and then just like that the car stops. Luckily a nice couple who lived nearby offered us some gas. There are alot of nice people in the world and we were grateful.

I started shopping early. I hate trying to buy it all last minute. It never turns out good. Shopping online has gotten easier for me than shopping in the store. I bargain shop. Find things on clearance. Join certain coupon groups. I'm all about saving money. I plan to use my fusion cash towards gifts for the family.

Off-Topic / Re: How do you relax?

You have had a stressful day and you need to unwind. Name one thing you like to do to do relieve stress. There is no wrong response. I will go first. I like to play music and run me a hot bath with good smelling candles after a long stressful day. Sometimes I will come home and write a story on my computer. I have written a few novels. Some of my books are short stories. What do you like to do to relax?

BTW, you said to name one thing; and you listed lots of things.  I'm just sayin'.
:confused1:
*Post modified. Maybe I was stressed when I wrote it 🧘

Off-Topic / Legitimate work from home companies

I hurt my back in January and my Dr has had me on a no work restriction ever since. I had finally worked my way up to the position I had been hoping to get which was machine operator. I was making $5 more than when I first started and constantly getting raises. Then I got injured doing something different from my usual work in another department.
After months of therapy and being at home with barely any money after being denied workers comp. My Dr final decision was to find a desk job or work from home. After doing my resume. I was flooded with calls and they were all for the position I could no longer perform ouch. I was hurt.
I have been searching for something I can do from home but so far have found nothing for Illinois. I guess I have to be patient and keep searching. If anyone knows any companies please comment below.

If you could choose one food to be calorie free for life what would it be? For me I would have to say ice cream because I love eating it but I have cut down on all of the desert and snacks I use to eat. Ice cream hands down is my favorite desert.

I don't do as much grilling in the fall as I do in the summer. I will keep it simple like fish and chicken breast.

Off-Topic / Re: do you cook often?

I love to cook. I only eat fast food twice a month. It's not because I can't afford it. I just prefer my own. I usually cook soul food or Italian dishes. I have been cooking since I was a teenager. I was raised in the city and a lot of people I know who use to eat fast food all the time would get sick a lot. I always worried about cleanliness of their hands, the dishes, and overall freshness and preparation of the food. In the summer I make most of my meals on the stove, but in the winter I like to bake.
