I don't get it either.  I don't like seeing it.  They don't realize (I guess) how foolish they look, especially when holding them up with one hand while trying to do something with the other hand. 

I have heard (and may be wrong) that when they ride bikes, they look for the girls' bikes.  That way they can still get on the bike better and not have to pull their britches up, like on a boy's bike.

My condolences for the loss of your Godmother.  I know that must have been hard to deal with finding out the she died and was buried after the fact.  Hopefully, it was an oversight on your Godsister's part.  Maybe you will be able to speak with her about it when you feel it's the right time.  I hope it gets worked out for you.

Sometimes waiting is hard.  Especially when just plain weary and tired.
