Well, I figure I owed everyone an explanation over my absence. I know what typically happens when a long time member doesn't come down to breakfast as it were. A post will be made saying 'where's so and so.' People will feign concern, etc. But I couldn't help succumbing to the drama of leaving the site 10 years to the day I joined, so I waited.  ;D

I pretty much realized over the summer that I'd gone as far as I could go with FC. I honestly knew my days were done once my credits started to expire (and I'll admit, if FC changed the silly rule I'd still be here today.)

As I've said before, FC was there for me when I was in need of some extra cash. I only wish the site were as lucrative for me now. The time & effort put in to getting surveys is no longer worth it for me. If FC ever goes back to not having to qualify for the daily PTC or at least has regular videos that make that viable again, I'm certainly open to returning.

So I'm not burning any bridges, not deleting my account. I may even show up from time to time just to see if the site makes it worth my while to resume using it. But I'm probably finished as an 'active' member for the time being at least.

For those wondering, yes, I'm still disappointed that FC allowed hitch to run roughshod over the forum. And yes, as of now, they still haven't responded to my most recent support tickets. Last I heard they were looking into how to remove him permanently, but apparently it's not a pressing concern to them after an entire year.

Regarding hitch and his 91 other personas, I don't regret leaving the constant battles (which I'm sure his inflated ego will cause him to declare another victory  :D  ) Matt 7:6 Jesus said “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." Obviously, hitch will not listen to reason, and to go over and over the same ground seems foolish at best, self serving at worst.

I've done all I could to defend the Gospel of Jesus Christ against his satanic doctrines. I left an example for you to follow in defending the truth. Now all you who are my brothers & sisters in Christ, must take up my mantle in my sted. I leave you with a final verse. One from the great Apostle Paul. Even for him, the race had to eventually end: Acts 20:25-31

 “Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me again. Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you. For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.  Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.  Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.  So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears."

If anyone is interested in following me, I won't make it difficult (in fact an anonymous member has already sought me out!) just look up Johnnie Torch on twitter. I'm there way too often.  :D

And so, thank you to FC, thank you to all the nice people I've met and remember- Keep the flame burning brightly, and I'll be with you again real soon. (my youtube sign off   ;))

Since Jesus as the firstborn of all creation is a created person, he cannot be Almighty God. The Scriptures repeatedly portray him as in a position subordinate to God. For example, concerning the resurrected Jesus Christ, the apostle Paul wrote: “I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” (1 Cor. 11:3, CB) When giving the inspired “Revelation” to the apostle John, Jesus said concerning himself: “He who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God; never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.” (Rev. 3:12, CB) Did you note that four times in this verse alone Jesus refers to his Father, Jehovah, as “my God”?—Compare Philippians 2:5, 6, CB.

In no way is this meant to deny the exalted position that Jesus occupies next to God. Before ascending to heaven, Jesus said to his disciples: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” (Matt. 28:18, CB) It was appropriate for God to ‘give’ to his Son such authority, since the Son was the firstborn of all creatures. Right in line with primogenitureship, the apostle Paul could write concerning Jesus: “[God] raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come; and he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church.”—Eph. 1:20-23, CB.

Again, you cannot conceive of the fact that Jesus made Himself subordinate to the Father (the titles Father & Son should define those roles rather clearly to you) in the Incarnation

But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. Heb 2:9

Christ's Role in the Godhead does not necessitate His divesting Himself of any Divine attributes. Try, try again.

I know you'll never read someone else's bible tract, so I'll paste it out for you. This is the explanation for Jesus being called the "First Born of Creation":

 The Greek word prototokos, which is translated as firstborn, can refer to different things. It could refer either to something or someone that is first in order of time, such as a firstborn child, or it could refer to someone who is preeminent in rank. Or it could refer to someone who was both firstborn and preeminent in rank. It all depends upon the context.

David, The Youngest Son, Was Called The Firstborn
The psalmist gives a description of David as being the firstborn. The Lord said of him.

I will also appoint him my firstborn, the most exalted of the kings of the earth (Psalm 89:27).

In this example the term firstborn obviously speaks of preeminence in rank. David was preeminent among the kings of Israel. However he was not the oldest, or firstborn, in his family. David was in fact the youngest. Therefore in this context, the idea of firstborn among the kings has the idea of preeminence and does not have the idea of time.

So you see, "First Born" does not mean Jesus was created in it's proper context. David, being the youngest was also called First Born in rank. So again, you've failed to demote Christ to a spirit creature. I'll continue to hope you'll actually take the lesson to heart, but won't be shocked when you don't...
You could make a lot more $$$ selling that stuff you are smoking then being on FC!!LOL!

I would be better off trying to learn Chinese then review or learn your nonsense.Even if i was Wong!!!Hahahaha!!

If you're having trouble get a 3 year old to read it to you.

Prov 8:22

22 Jehovah produced me as the beginning of his way,+

The earliest of his achievements of long ago.+

23 From ancient times* I was installed,+

From the start, from times earlier than the earth.+

24 When there were no deep waters,+ I was brought forth,*

When there were no springs overflowing with water.

25 Before the mountains were set in place,

Before the hills, I was brought forth,

26 When he had not yet made the earth and its fields

Or the first clods of earth’s soil.

27 When he prepared the heavens,+ I was there;

When he marked out the horizon* on the surface of the waters,+

28 When he established* the clouds above,

When he founded the fountains of the deep,

29 When he set a decree for the sea

That its waters should not pass beyond his order,+

When he established* the foundations of the earth,

30 Then I was beside him as a master worker.+

I was the one he was especially fond of+ day by day;

I rejoiced before him all the time;+

31 I rejoiced over his habitable earth,

And I was especially fond of the sons of men.*

32 And now, my sons, listen to me;

Yes, happy are those who keep my ways.

33 Listen to discipline+ and become wise,

And never neglect it.

34 Happy is the man who listens to me

By coming early to* my doors day by day,

By waiting next to my doorposts;

35 For the one finding me will find life,+

And he receives approval from Jehovah.

36 But the one who ignores me harms himself,*

And those who hate me love death.”+

Are you seriously going to quote Proverbs 8:22 as a proof text? Seriously, this is the best you got?

"For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;" Proverbs 2:6

The Wisdom which Yahweh gives is the knowledge and understanding that comes from his mouth. The reference is essentially saying that Yahweh produced Wisdom out of his own mouth, which shows that Wisdom wasn't created from nothing since it existed with(in) Yahweh. In other words, Yahweh always had Wisdom as an attribute which he then produced or brought forth in order to create and to give to others.

Basically, what this implies is that Proverbs is using figurative language to describe how Yahweh birthed his own eternal attribute of Wisdom from Himself in creating everything. Thus, even if the text were referring to Christ this would only prove that the Creedal statements were correct in stating that Jesus was eternally begotten before all creation, begotten not made.

Yet, as it stands, this text isn't referring to Christ nor is it saying that Wisdom was created from nothing. It is simply a poetic description of how Yahweh used his own eternal attribute of Wisdom to create all things.

Anybody check out Stargirl? It's actually pretty good. It's about a girl who takes on her dad's Superhero mantle and reforms the classic Justice Society of America.

It's pretty cool. Not as soap opera heavy as some of CW's other shows.

Biden is not a credible candidate.

At this point in life, Biden's only decision making capability is if he wants the Klondike Bar or the Ice Cream Sandwich while he watches Golden Girls reruns before bedtime.

Honestly, who would trust this guy to lead a country when he can't even manage to make a coherent sentence?

I would never have an abortion but I don't think I have the right to impose my beliefs on someone else.

If abortion is murdering a human life- is that not worth imposing your beliefs on someone else?
