:D

The Bible says spare the rod, spoil the child, you take it from there.  I don't believe in beating a child sense less but there is a time when a child needs a spanking.  I got them when I was growing up and I was raised in a Good Christian Home.  And I turned out alright and am a have been a Christian since I was a teenager.

Men it is cold, we got about 5 or 6 in. of snow last night and it's been snowing off and on all day. I do beleive winter is here to stay for awhile. Have you got much snow where you live if so how much?

It snowed here all day.  Just flurries.  It did not snow enough to get any.  But it was pretty falling.   I live in south, so we do not get deep snow often.  I am like a kid at Christmas when it snow.   We had 4 inches last Feburary and I was at work when it came down.  I had to drive home in it, but I made it home ok.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you eat hot oatmeal?
« on: December 04, 2010, 04:53:34 am »Message ID: 279948
Now that it has gotten cold out here, I have hot oatmeal a few times a week.  I use the regular kind and put some powdered milk in with the water, sprinkle with cinnamon, heat in the microwave and then toss a small handfull of blueberries on top.  The hot oatmeal heats up the blueberries.  A good winter breakfast.  Oatmeal, cinnamon and blueberries are all supposed to be good for you.

I had hot oatmeal yesterday morning for breakfast.  It is good for your health and very feeling.  I just put sugar and butter in mine.  Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.

Backup cameras. You don't have to wait though and can get them now. Also you can get a beeper alert if you are about to hit something with your car while backing up.

I hope they make a car where it can run on 100 miles per gallon of gas.   Now that would be a great savings for us average people.   Gas is going up here.   I can not afford a hybrid car.  They cost to much.  I was just wondering if they will require us to by the hdbrid car before it is over with.  Hope not.  Everyone have a Merry Christmas and may God bless each of you this year and the next.

Off-Topic / Re: cell phone uses while driving

What would happen if you get in a wreck and cant take the car out of drive and cant get out of the car. They needs to be  a way to shut the deavice down so you can use the phone in emergice.

Wonderful point. I wish people would just take more responsibility and not talk/text while driving. I understand when people are trying to locate a place and talking to the person so they can arrive at their destination but even that is pushing it for me.

I just got a cell phone a few weeks ago and I have used it while driving but It is not safe.  I have seen so many people on them while driving and they are not paying attention to what they are doing.  My grandson has drove throught New York and it is aganist the law to talk on a cell phone there.   I wish every state had a law to ban cell phone use.

Off-Topic / Re: What did you get on Black Friday?!
« on: November 28, 2010, 03:07:24 am »Message ID: 276036
I bought a power wheels Spongebob quad, and a monster jam stadium, and a cuponk... the funny thing is that I didn't actually buy anything on sale.. I just wanted to have an excuse to shop at 3 am  ;D

Well, I didn't buy anything on Black Friday but I was at Wal Mart at 4:30 am as I work there as a people greeter.  I love my job.  The employees said it was crazy at 12 midnight, that is when the first sales started.  By the time I went into work it had calmed down and was not as much rushed at 5 in morning.   We had a lot of sale items, which we still have some of them.
