Off-Topic / Re: What TV shows did you grow up with?
« on: October 28, 2010, 02:51:34 am »Message ID: 260372
I Love Lucy, The Three Stooges, Gilligan’s Island, The Little Rascals, Fantasy Island, Full House, Dinosaurs, The Brady Bunch, Saved By The Bell etc. I suppose those were the good old days of watching old TV series on television. It’s true there is nothing worth watching on TV nowadays except for travel/educational channels.

I remember Any Griffin show, Mavarick, Leave it to Beaver, Roy Rogers, Sky King, I married Joan, My Little Margie, I've got a Secret, What's my Line, and my Mother was on the Price is Right in the 1950's when we lived outside of New York City.  Those were the days.  Not much worth watching now.   Good clean shows back then.

Offers / Re: Has anyone ever gotten a MyThoughtCounts survey to work?
« on: October 26, 2010, 02:48:31 am »Message ID: 259490
I have never been able to qualify for and complete any of the surveys.  It may be that I work in market research or my demographics.  I have given up trying but other Fc members have been very successful doing daily surveys.   Some of the survey companies will not even let me sign up.    :crybaby2:

I did MTC and did not get credit.  Will keep trying and see what happens.

I'm interested. How?
You will need to contact me directly.  Send me a message, I can't post anything in the forums, it is against the rules..... :peace:
I have a found a great program, even easier than Fusion Cash where you can earn an extra $25 a month on your own efforts.

hi
I'm interested in knowing too!! Can you add me to your buddy list? I added you, but when I tried to start a new message, it said I wasn't allowed to send messages??? Is that because I'm not on anyone's buddy list?

Never mind....I found your FB page and your website! Will check it out and contact you if I have questions!!
I am on facebook and would like to know if you give each one of your friends the FC URL and how would you do this?

Off-Topic / Re: Flu Shot, Have you Had Yours?
« on: October 24, 2010, 02:25:20 am »Message ID: 258608
I went to the doctor to day for blood work and a check up. And then suprise they gave me a flu shoot. I don't mine shots but it sure did make my arm sore and I felt a little funny afterward. As of now I'm feeling ok. How many of FC people got your flu shoot yet? I do hope it keeps me and my husband both from getting the flu. He had his shot last week.

I have not had my flu shot yet.   Got sick about the time they started giving them and had to put it off.  I am well now so going in a few days to get mine.  If I don't take it I stay sick all winter.

Even though I just lost my job last month (and it was my own fault, nothing to do with the economy) I am doing just fine. I'm going to be taking a couple "refresher" classes for what I went to school for and I'm going to get myself on the right path again. Bills are all paid up and everything is looking good for the near and also distant future. Of course I'm single, have minimal expenses (I pay my folks rent and that's it), and I'm single with no rugrats running around. Of course I'm a very fortunate person no matter what.

I have done ok in this economy but I am retired and drawing SS and working working full time at Wal-mart.  It is a shame when a person reaches retirement age they can not make it on SS.  But I thank God I am able to work and keep my bills paid.

Chins up, soldiers! I'm sure things will get better for both of ya.
 :thumbsups

I know things are getting better, the stock market has done real good the past several weeks, but yesterday it fell and hopefully will be up to day.  I feel sorry for all of the ones that have lost their jobs.  My son and his wife lost their jobs at the same time as the factory closed and my son was out of work for 14 months.   He has gone back to work with another company here in town and they are getting back on their feet.  We had to help them with differnet things but was glad I could.

Considering I'm not a Darfur war orphan, I'm doing damn good. It could always be better, but I'm doing good.
I'm sincerely glad that you're doing good and I hope things do get better for you.  You're quite the trooper, you deserve better...everyone deserves better.
