This is very unfortunate and sad, not only because of what happened, but because I think it damages the credibility of those who use GoFundMe for help. Some friends of mine were able to use it during a recent hurricane and it made a huge difference.

Always good to enjoy the pleasant weather while it lasts, especially this time of year. The temperature wildly fluctuates here, but it's been pretty nice here too. I like it when there's a little nip in the air, but it isn't too extreme.

I'm having turkey and stuffing with cranberry sauce. We're doing the green bean casserole thing too. I'm going to try to make pecan creme brulees this year as a special treat. But I have some apple and pumpkin store bought pies if those don't turn out well. Always be prepared, I say.

That Christmas music sure does make it feel festive. Though I feel a little sorry for the retail people who have to hear it again and again until the season ends. That would drive me nuts at a certain point. But it's great in some smaller doses.

Sometimes I'll wear a pretty watch for special occasions to add a sophisticated touch. Most of the time, I just use my phone to keep an eye on the time though. It's an easy go-to to use.

I've lived in Florida all my life too, but the weather can still really catch you off guard sometimes. It stays so warm for so long, it's easy to forget it's fall, then boom, a cold snap comes in and suddenly it's legitimately chilly. I try to do layering this time of year to be ready and keep a spare jacket in the car and watch the weather.

I've never dated a co-worker, but I've approached a couple of times by them for a date. It never seemed like a good idea to me though. If the dating gets weird, you still have to show up at work until either they or you find another job.

I'm sure I do drink that much water a day usually since I generally just drink water and keep all other drinks for very special occasions. It's one of my few good habits, I like to say. I actually though, just simply prefer it. So I'm lucky. Now if I could do something about my sweet tooth...

This is so sad. Stan will certainly be missed. It's nice we have his huge body of work to enjoy still though.
