Did a survey last week for a 125.00 visa gift card, got it today.  It was a online  doing a mock trail. Took 3hrs but well worth it.  The site is Wilkins research.  This was just for ca .About state farm insurance  and if they  charged to high of premiums.  I don't like state farm but don't care right now.  They give you a bunch of stores to shop at.   I started at Amazon and  realized I hate shopping.  Will forge ahead.

What is a mock TRAIL?
Its an imitation trail that simulates lower court trails where role players test theories and/or experiments in preparation for a real trail.

Are you talking about a TRIAL? A TRAIL is something you walk on, a path or walk way. A TRIAL is something that happens in a court room.

It seemed pretty obvious that stevensm4 took the definition of mock trial and replaced the word trial with "trail" *as a joke* to reference the OP's original error...

Off-Topic / Re: whats your birth stone color?
« on: March 04, 2021, 10:06:11 pm »Message ID: 1352380
Since I'm a Libra, my birth stone is Peridot or Chrysolite which is green.

I'm a Libra as well but my birth stone is sapphire. It depends on the month of birth.
Ah you're right! The birth stone can be Peridot, Agate Aquamarine, Tourmaline, Opal or Sapphire. So for the month of October, its Opal and I think its multi-colored.
Based on your first response, I figured you're an October Libra. Hahaha! I didn't realize October had more than one stone, though - pretty neat!

I haven't yet looked to see which 6 books are considered problematic/being discontinued but I agree that it would probably be easy to see how people might see similarities in his other work.
Exactly! This right here! My post was in reference to some of his supposed earlier drawings that if what I looked up was true, clearly showed black faced characters and the use of the n-word along with people from Africa looking like monkeys with grass skirts and in the book "If I Ran the Zoo" depicts two Africa individuals looking like what I just described.

Yes, the drawings in these threads:

I definitely feel like life is on hold due to COVID. The most visible example is that we have suspended all travel, both domestic and international, as COVID continues. I so look forward to the day where I could travel with my family again.

I'd take it as an opportunity to plan a more lengthy trip once things reopen.  8)

No, I don't feel like my life is on hold. I see many opportunities in learning new trades. I've also been blessed with steady employment and was recently offered a job!  :)

Actually, if you look up some of the black characters Dr. Seuss has drawn, its definitely understandable why those people would think its racist.

I haven't yet looked to see which 6 books are considered problematic/being discontinued but I agree that it would probably be easy to see how people might see similarities in his other work.
Despite the contents of those specific books, it isn't as if he did not blatantly publish racist imagery (targeting Black and Japanese people) on other occasions.

I haven't been on very often, but it has nothing to do with FC. I've just been working at my new job and too tired to check in when I get home.

Same here. I've been caught up with work but I'm glad to finally be out of the house!
