Offers / Re: No Tap Surveys
« on: October 25, 2020, 04:22:43 pm »Message ID: 1343130
Well, I'm not too happy. I probably had Tap surveys earlier, but decided to go do some of the FC surveys in my email first. I ended up with only a few pennies and no completes but they are caught up. However, while I was doing that, our power went out for just the blink of an eye, for no good reason at all! After I restarted my laptop and attempted to do Tap, it's now saying I'm behind a proxy again. I can't get it to work. Grrrrr. Guess I'll just try tomorrow.

I am sorry to hear of everyone's losses due to smoking and otherwise.  It is not easy dealing with loss no matter the cause.

Personally I have never smoked and never wanted to try, but I have seen the power of addiction for smoking (and other substances) working on others near and dear to me and it is painful to endure for everyone.

I wish the best and congratulations to those who have stopped and those who are trying to stop.  If others decide to keep smoking, I hope you stay healthy.
I went along totally agreeing with your entire comment, until I reached the last line. Hoping the impossible for anyone who refuses to believe what is now common knowledge is not going to do anything but add to their demise where staying healthy is not included, no matter what anyone wishes.
I get what you're saying oldbuddy, however, hoping that someone stays healthy is not out of line. Because all people do pass away at some time, and it can be at any given time, regardless if they smoke or not. Especially now with COVID in play. But my Dad was a smoker, who quit while in his 60's I believe, and lived to be 86. My Grandma (on my mom's side) was a smoker and quit in her 60's also I think, and lived to be 96. I have 3 siblings, 2 of us smoke, 2 do not and never have. However, my brother had many medical issues a few years back. He's still alive, but it really was touch and go for awhile. My youngest sister is a Vegan and has never smoked (to my knowledge). But she drinks alcohol more than any of the rest of us. I have 4 kids, all grown, 2 smoke, 2 do not. I smoke, and a few years ago, I really wanted to be a non-smoker, I had the perfect opportunity when I was in the hospital for a week. But I blew it, and it would've been difficult anyhow because 2 other people in the household smoked. Not impossible, but difficult. I hope I can be successful in becoming "a quitter" in the near future, but at this time I'm not trying. I even tried Chantix last year, and all it seemed to do is make me sick to my stomach. I just didn't have the will power to stick with it.

Payments / Re: Received September Payment

My cashout was processed on the 20th.  I get a check in the mail and have never had a problem.  Today is October 15th and I still have not received my check.  I moved and I tried to change my address, but it would not let me.  This was before the check was processed.  I sent a support ticket but have not heard anything yet.  It has been one and half months since I sent the ticket.
I have only requested a check from FC once or twice in all my time here. And I did have an issue with one that I did not get, but back then, a help ticket got a response and they did reissue another that I did receive eventually. After that, I changed to DD or Paypal, and have never had an issue. I now use Paypal all the time. Works perfectly!

Yes, it definitely does make one wonder, but they are still completing cash outs so that is a big relief! Although I'd think there aren't as many and not as often now, since it's harder to get to $25. I have a bunch of FC surveys built up in my email box, that I plan on working on today. But I can only stand to try so many in a day's time. I only have time to work on them 1 or 2 days a week. But since we got a foot of snow on Friday and now it's super cold outside, I have no plans to go anywhere today!

:cat:

I just did a survey on another site for 40 minutes, at the end after it thanked me it said: "Sorry you did not qualify!"

I believe they are using these survey and just not paying us!  Do you believe this?

Yep. I believe that's exactly what they're doing. Isn't anyone honest anymore? It seems like these companies look for new ways to cheat us out of the pitiful amounts they pay us every so often and greed has taken over in which they aren't very honest anymore.

Yeah, I've got to wonder about this too. I've done several on various sites where it works just fine all the way through, no issues, then on the last page, it takes forever to load, or never loads and I hit refresh. Because I'll do everything I can to get what I have coming, so I'll hit refresh or the back button many times if needed. Most of the time, it works, but occasionally, it doesn't. And that's what goes through my head, they deliberately did that to get free answers.

I bet your check is hanging out at some P.O., waiting to be picked up. Have you checked your local P.O.? I used to live in Iowa and now I live in Montana. My ex owes a lot of back child support, and I used to change my address when needed on the child support website. But the last time I received any money was 7 years ago. I moved back to MT 6 years ago, and never changed my address because I never thought I'd see another dime. Then we got a stimulus check. I did not know that his got garnished, and was sent to the CS in Iowa. They sent it out as a check to me at my last known address. I have never received it and have no idea where it's at. But when I found out about it, I contacted them, and through a bunch of different processes, I should have a new check arriving any day now. The original was sent out the end of June, so that just goes to show how long the whole process has taken. Been a pain, but I'm glad I'm at the final stage!

I don't really think it's broke, per say, but it is experiencing more flaws than I've ever known it to before. Most definitely the earning opportunities are not near as abundant as in years past. But as long as there are some, we should be grateful!! We members are the glue holding it together pretty much, as long as we keep doing things on the site to help them bring in funds. But even if FC shut down tomorrow, I'd still be ever so grateful for all they've done to help me out. At times, I needed that money to get me through another week, so it has never been taken for granted by me!

FusionCash / Re: Oh No, not another Covid 19 Survey
« on: October 24, 2020, 01:35:27 pm »Message ID: 1342999
Yeah, I'm fine with COVID and political surveys right now, because most of the political ones are pretty easy and quick, and pay pretty good. And they won't be around much longer. As for the COVID ones, who knows how long they will be around. But I've noticed quite a few of them lately are combining both subjects into 1 survey. I don't care what the subject is, as long as they don't take 30-60 minutes to do!!

Yep got mine too and Yes! Very reassuring to have a payment come through as it's supposed to!! That's pretty much the most important thing!! However, without the forum bonuses, it's going to take me a good 3 months to cashout most likely. Oh well, as long as I get it done within 6 months, I'll still work on it daily!!

Yep have to check no spam. It worked. Thx
Oh I'm glad it worked! But not sure what you meant by checking no spam? Do you mean on your email settings or on FC or in your antivirus settings or ??? Can you please elaborate just a bit more? Thanks!

Yep, I pretty much feel the same way and I'm so sad about it. I didn't even submit my September posts yet, hoping the other 3 would come through before I did. Now I think I'll submit it, and finish up October, then give it a rest. I mean, I still want to check in when it's convenient, and find out what's going on, but I doubt I'll be doing much posting myself unless it's of interest to others.
