i donthave a credit or debt card. its really hard doin the free offers. any adivce

The video shows you how to click on the "Free / No CC Needed" pages.  You don't need plastic for that.  That's part of the attraction of this site and my frustration with other sites.

Do your daily PTC, daily e-mail, participate here in the forums and keep trying those daily tasks.  Look for the videos tab on the "more special offers" page.

You also get credit for following FC on Twitter so do that and use the link provided to tweet about.

There are banners and links you can use to get referrals.

Above all keep a positive attitude, be persistent and have some fun.

Off-Topic / Re: Have you ever been to Las Vegas?
« on: May 29, 2011, 03:05:24 pm »Message ID: 360024
I do not know why some people called Las Vegas "Sin City"? In english "Sin City" means City of Sin or sinful city! In Spanish means "City without". Without---what? Does anyone really know the meaning of "Sin City"? Where it really came from? What it really means? Anyways, I visited Las Vegas once! And I like it there was so much to see and do besides gambling!

They call it "sin city"  because the casino/gambling/strip part of it got a reputation for "sinful" behavior:  greed, substance abuse, adultery, etc.  As they say "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas".

However, the town itself is quite family oriented and has such a large Mormon population that they built a temple there.  There's much to do there without gambling.  It's also in easy reach of Lake Mead and some cool mountain villages (I forgot the names) that have chalet style houses amidst the trees.  Quite a break from the heat.  If you enjoy people watching the casinos are great for that, 24 hours a day.

Off-Topic / Re: do energy drinks really work

i am not sure i am afraid to try them because of a heart problem and high blood pressure any thoughts on this subject

I've tried them, but don't like them.  They taste funny and are totally artificial.  I've heard bad things about them  Remember, what goes up must come down.  You'd be better off getting plenty of sleep, getting lots of natural fiber and eating small "meals" every few hours to keep your energy constant.  Personally I have better energy eating more fresh produce and less processed foods.  If you feel you need something once in a while ask your doctor what would be safe for you.  Take care. :)

I love Vegas.  I used to live there.  I used to have an apartment behind the Imperial Palace.  I got a kick out of doing my banking at Ceasar's Palace (the ATM).  I love the 24 hour lifestyle.  I don't gamble, but the buffets and shows are fun.  I met a few rock stars in the casinos, after their concerts.  I hated leaving, but I've fallen in love with New Mexico now.  I haven't been back in years but would like to, when I have travel money again.

I grew up back East.  I know what you mean about the scenery.  Our skies were so dull and you couldn't see anything past the houses and trees.  Since then I've lived in Utah, Vegas and New Mexico and just love the mountains, the wide open spaces, the desert climate.

Since your draw was the entertainment and not the gambling you might like New Mexico.  I invite you to come for Balloon Fiesta (starting the first Saturday of October) and explore our local cultures.  (I do not work for the state, I just love it.)

Off-Topic / Re: White chocolate or Dark chocolate: which taste better?

Dark chocolate, definitely.  When I first tried white chocolate I liked it, but that was handmade by a local shop.  Now I find it too sweet and waxy.

Cokes in glass bottles from Mexico are the best Cokes.  They're made with real sugar and have the best flavor.  If I'm going to have one that's what I want.

Besides my kitties I have Seymor, an Eastern Box Turtle.  His favorite foods are cantaloupe, cherries and miller moths.

Yes, he's hanging upside down.  He climbs his walls then to get down he just lets go.  This time he got hung up.  (Don't worry, I helped him down right after I took the photo.)  He usually gives me a look if I try to help him flip.  He'd rather do it himself.

To get happy or because I'm happy?   :dontknow:

Nothing beats dark chocolate for a mood lifter.    :)

To celebrate however... tre leche cake from Smith's and/or a Mexican Coke (made with real sugar and comes in a glass bottle).   ;D

I'm sending him some Reiki right now.  Stay positive, everything will be all right.  When things go awry in my world that's what I keep repeating to myself:  "It's all right.  I'm all right.  Everything's all right."  Then I can think and function and everything works out. :angel11:

Suggestions / Re: working from home
« on: May 19, 2011, 04:55:34 pm »Message ID: 355834
My neighbor's daughter has been working for West At Home for two years and averages $15 - $20 per hour.  Unfortunately for me they are not MAC compatible.  Neither are Export Planet, Arixe and ACD Direct which she also listed for me from her company's virtual bulletin board.  She did however have Fusion Cash on her list so here I am.

Thanks for all the ideas everyone.  I'm checking them out one-by-one.

I've not seen anyone mention Amazon Turk.  I found them through a blog when I Googled one of your suggestions.  It seems cool, doing small tasks like picking out photos that illustrate a given word, but I must be missing something since only about a quarter of what I did credited.  I'll have to try some more and see if it's me or them.

I found the videos when I first heard of them, then the tab disappeared.  Tuesday afternoon I looked and no tab, Tuesday night (okay it was actually Wednesday morning) the tab was back. I watched and was credited for 12 videos.  It pays to be a night owl. ;D
