Off-Topic / Re: who used facebook

I'm a sporactic user on Facebook. I use this to keep up with family, casual acquaintances, old classmates, etc. I use to enjoy this social site, but I have not liked a number of their privacy changes and sometimes annoyed about the things people post. I do find this sometimes beneficial especially with the periodic promotions from companies.

Off-Topic / Re: What's your black friday shopping style?

I use to shop at brick and mortars during Black Fridays, but I've had such terrible luck the past number of years (people are so crazy) I have given up and decided to spend the time online at leisure (not waking up early). My shopping habits are otherswise the same compared to most other days. I just check daily once or twice a day on deal site forums and see if there is anything of interest.

I don't like myspace, but I do like the capabilities of Facebook. This is a great avenue to re-connect with people, but I wouldn't trust this to put too much personal information about myself.

I don't believe the preaching of Harold Camping and actually I don't really believe much in the rapture either. If we're putting weight on the Bible then the date cannot be determined.

Glee. Some of the songs they do are better than the original.

Support / Re: surveys not counting
« on: June 22, 2011, 11:10:31 pm »Message ID: 373557
With some general surveys there are cases where they do not always direct you correctly back to the standard completion screen - causing you to not receive credit with your membership site. I thought clearing your cookies before logging in and then doing the survey would minimize this, but this can happen at anytime (luckily not too frequently for me). I fortunately haven't run into this with FusionCash, but just hope the site you are affiliated with is willing to research and work with you than passing it off.

Support / Re: Paid to watch videos!

This is the first time I ran one of the videos (Planet of the Apes) where I finished the whole video and didn't receive credit. After I finished I waited a moment and tried to go to the next video, but receive an "Internal Error" message. I reviewed my account, but no credit thus far. I hoping this is just a delay, but as plugin compatibility I don't think that's the issue in this case.

I'm not given forced updates as I'm still on 3.6, but I do see the browser sometimes becomes a huge memory hog and forced restarts seem to be happening more frequently. I use to bad mouth IE before, but on the occasions I use IE8 I feel this browser is a little more stable.

Off-Topic / Re: Letting people borrow money
« on: June 19, 2011, 10:29:25 pm »Message ID: 372383
I use to loan out money when I was much younger, but this created big issues when they did not return the money. I began pestering them constantly and this created bad chemistry between us eventually. Nowadays I don't lent money unless I have the mindset of not getting anything back. I do treat friends or we might take turns paying things, but that's different.

If I was a multi millionaire I might still do some volunteer work to keep myself occupied (other than my periodic traveling).

The game is interesting, but I'm growing a little tired of the game. I play this periodically on my android smartphone and reminds me a little of Pirates vs Ninjas (which I enjoy moreso, but is flash driven).

Off-Topic / Re: google or bing!

Google is my primary browser, but when I'm looking for something specific such as a special deal Bing seems to get me better results. I was part of their cashback program many months ago via their shopping site and liked this and if the replacement rewards program is any good (I haven't tried) I might start using this more again.

Maybe one neighbor, but otherwise I just wave to them when I see them. Everyone basically keeps to themselves.

I subscribe to one of my local paper and read daily. With the popularity of ebook readers and the ease of my own Kindle I have been reading books more also.
