Off-Topic / Re: Mothers Help!!

My son was scared to get his hair washed to what I did is let him help me with his hair.  Get a favorite cup or something and tell him to make the water look like a water fall coming down his head, but when you go to rinse make sure he tilts his head back so you don't get soap in his eyes and what ever you do try not to put his head under the spot it scares them.  Make a game out of it is what I am trying to say.  Children are smarter than we think they are.

Rap was just getting started far as I know when I was a kid.  I didn't care for Rap than and I don't care for them now.  I mean they get pretty graphic and sometimes they don't make since.  I like being able to understand the words when I listen to music.  So even though it was a popular thing when I was a teenager i didn't like it at all.

Off-Topic / Re: Why do people celebrate Christmas?
« on: November 23, 2014, 08:25:30 pm »Message ID: 937526
I don't celebrate Christmas because most people think that is when Christ was born but it wasn't.  Does anyone know why the Christmas tree and the exchange of gifts come from?  What where the reason of the three wise men to find Jesus?  Why would God ask people to go register in there home towns if it is freezing out side he wouldn't Jesus was born in a barn or what ever so it had to be warm enough so he wasn't even born in December.  It all came about through different types of religion who couldn't agree on anything and combined there two religions and came up with Christmas.  Look it up you will find it.

Off-Topic / Re: Finding money
« on: November 23, 2014, 08:01:26 pm »Message ID: 937520
When you find money in a store or on the road who are you going to turn it into?  The store would just keep it because they have no proof someone found it, now if I see someone drop the money and walk away than I would catchup and tell them what I saw and give the money back.  Other wise someone else is just going to spend it.  I try to be as honest as I can when dealing with people but in this event there really is no one to turn the money over to, Now my brother or sister found money on the curb of a street where no one lived there and the money was found one of them bought dinner for everyone.  When i have extra than I donate such as when I cashed out on here I donated money out of my earnings to help others and it made me feel good.

We can't get cable out where I live.  We had dish network for many years but we got a better offer from Direct TV and we have the Genie which is great but it seems my bill goes up every few months and its getting harder to keep it.  It makes no since plus the guy who signed us up said our discount was for two years wrong one year.  Why does it have to be so expensive.  They told me that my package with dish would be cheaper with them they where right but only for a year.

I have not done a survey in a while because i never get approved for one and when I do something goes wrong and I don't get paid.  It just waste my time now if I could get my services or my web browser to quit crashing than I can make money.

I personally like the Yoplai custard its really thick put you can't find it hardly anymore at least where I live.  I also like those dole yogurt drinks you mix with juice they are really good and they can serve as a breakfast or lunch I know one time I was walking a miles a day and eating just yogurt and I lost over 20 pounds.  The flavors I pretty much like them all but peach and anything with banannas are the ones I enjoy the most.

We all are  I don't have any grandchildren as of yet but hopefully in the futures once my son settles down and starts thinking about his future instead of living for the day.  I noticed that I have been getting crabby as well, I don't know if it the change or just that I am tired of not stating my mind to people when they *bleep* me off.  Usually I keep everything to myself but it has been getting harder to do as I get older, especially with my parents who sometimes thinks I am still a kid and I am 43 my life is half over start treating me with respect and remember that I am a person who makes mistakes but they are my mistakes and I have to learn that if its wrong I have to pay the price.
