Off-Topic / Enough with hating over the Election.
« on: November 27, 2016, 04:33:54 am »Message ID: 1106909
To all you haters out there.  To all you people who lost pride in their fellow Americans.  Lost Pride in America.  Only because you don’t like who won the presidency.   STOP!  United we stand, divide we fall.  Our flag has bled enough!  We still live in a country where the majority can pick our leader.  Choose not be chosen for us.  We still live in a country with the Checks and Balance system so no one person has supreme power to dictate any law or agenda.  We still live in a country where you free to hate.  Free to say you are ashamed.  We still live in the greatest country in the world.  No one person should take away American Pride.  One more time.  Our flag has bled enough.  United we stand, Divined we fall.  I say, We are Americans.  It’s time we started acting like it.

Off-Topic / Anyone else use Bank of America?
« on: November 26, 2016, 03:28:45 am »Message ID: 1106679
I used to like them, but I don’t anymore.  they had the nerve to now charge the average ordinary citizen $12-$25 every month per account if they don’t maintain a balance of $10,000.   if the average ordinary citizen had that amount, and could maintain it,  you honestly think we’d be living in crappy apartments with no ac in the middle of summer, gripe about the price of minimum-wage, protest companies like Walmart who just want to build more stores rather than pay a higher wage to the workers they already have?  No.  So why do we, the hard- working middle to *bleep*-poor minimum wagers have to pay for the bad investment deals made by  the heads of the bank company?  Everyone talks about how great it is to live in a country where now even a woman can get nominated to run for president.  Frankly, I don't care who it is.  They get my vote if they are willing to stop companies like Bank of America and credit card companies from doing this to their customers.  Stop charging hidden, stupid, worthless fees, just to get a couple more bucks out of their customers.  It's enough to make one want to switch companies, or not use one at all.

I am not a morning person (nor a coffee drinker) so I need a little extra ‘slap my face, get up and go’ so the song that always wakes me up in the morning is…Walkin’ on Sunshine my Katrina and the Wave

Off-Topic / Do You Enjoy Historical Places? If so, Where?
« on: August 27, 2016, 03:17:56 am »Message ID: 1088474
My family is huge on History so as a kid I had gone to the Ford’s Theater once.  I decided to recently go back.  I really wasn’t disappointed.  It’s an active theater (in fact they were rebuilding the stage when I went) that’s two stories.  I love the molding and the seats are really comfortable.  The basement of the theater is set up as Mary Surratt’s boarding home and the President’s Booth (which I think they had taken away for a time) can be seen up close.  You can’t actually go inside but you get the basic view John Wilkes Booth had when he shot Lincoln.  The gun he actually used is down below.

Off-Topic / Anyone Else get their meds from CVS?
« on: August 27, 2016, 03:16:36 am »Message ID: 1088473
I get my medicine from CVS.  I always have for years.  The problem is for the past few months the one I use let the old-timers go and hired young people who don’t do as good a job.  I’ve gotten the right label on the bag but the wrong medicine inside but that doesn’t beat getting the right label with the right box inside but the box was empty.  I use a prescription allergy nasal spray twice a day, every day because I’m allergic to mold and mildew.  I can’t afford to mess around with that because if I don’t use my nasal spray the dust allergens transform into phlegm and too much of that in my system and I’m vomiting, which will be a trip to the ER.  If that happens I should just charge the bill to CVS.  I mean I get they want younger, cheaper workers but can’t they hire people who know what they are doing?  This is medicine!  People’s lives are in their hands and they act like they don’t even care.  So sad.

Support / Restricted Account
« on: July 26, 2016, 08:11:50 am »Message ID: 1081686
My account worked fine up until July 1st.  I woke up and it worked fine through 8:30am.  I went to check my account 4pm that afternoon and suddenly I receive a restricted notice on my account so I can't do anything except check it.  I had no idea what was going on.  I’ve been with Fusion cash since 2012 and never had anything like this happen before.  I checked the terms as to how this could happen and the only thing I can think of is that their computers thought I violated was the terms of logging in from a non- personal computer.  I have a desktop, a laptop and a 2-in-1.  That past week I have logged into my fusion cash account on both my desktop and my 2-1.  BOTH are my Personal computers and so is the internet connection which is wireless (the same internet connection used for both).    If they only want you to use one, they should have said so rather than just locking the account with no warning.  I’ve only posted my referral link to twitter, which comes up regularly after I’ve cashed out.   Like I said, I’ve never had this before and with no warning, I didn’t know how to get it unlocked.  I posted twice to their help ticket and thankfully they just unlocked it with no problems.  Later On I was told, this can occur when my browser uses cookies that are still saved from the time the issue was occurring.  This I don’t understand.  I did have my password saved to Chrome so I was constantly logged in.  What I did as soon as I was logged back in was clear my history on Chrome.  Update it then logged into my account and changed the Password.  When Chrome came up to save it I clicked no.  Now I have to log in all the time so I’m guessing that will solve that problem since I really don’t understand what happened to begin with.

Off-Topic / What’s your favorite food and why?

Actually, I hate eating but if I had to choose, I would say chicken Parmesan.  It’s the Italian in me from my maternal grandmother.  She was a pure-blood Italian and every holiday we had to have Italian.  Now that she’s passed away, I still eat Italian on the holidays to honor her.  Not a big spaghetti fan, but I do like it with the chicken patty.

Off-Topic / What would you do if you had 1 million dollars?

I think the main problem is when people win the lottery, they blow it all not realizing that once it’s gone, it’s gone.  Because I’m not a big spender, I would put it in the bank.  Some would go into the checking and saving to pay off bills and some would go into a money market and stock to try and make more.  I certainly wouldn't blow it.

Off-Topic / Do you have a favorite restaurant and why?
« on: July 18, 2016, 05:15:28 am »Message ID: 1080340
My favorite restaurant is Olive Garden.  My maternal grandmother passed a few years ago and she was pure-blood Italian.  Every holiday (even Thanksgiving) we were eating Italian.  Of course, she made the sauce by hand the way her mother taught her.  So when I feel too nostalgic or miss her too much, I head over there.  They give large portions, just like she did so you never go home hungry.  I’m not a big eater, but I miss siting at her table, so when I want that memory as if it was just yesterday, I go there.

Off-Topic / Lives on a public street w/strangers parking in front of their of their house?
« on: May 20, 2016, 03:24:47 am »Message ID: 1067617
I do!  I live Woodbridge, VA in an upside-down ‘T’ shaped enclosed neighborhood.  That means there is only one way in and that’s how you get out.  We are single family homes and had the opportunity to make it a private neighborhood and the only reason we did not was because we were told that if we did so then we and our family member could not park in front of our own home.  Some of us have a single driveway with at least two cars so we ruled that out.  My house is situated towards the end of the stem of the ‘T’.  A sidewalk encircles the neighborhood.  The problem comes in that there is a townhouse neighborhood literally on the other side of that sidewalk and they are only allowed two parking spots per townhouse but have more than two cars.  Someone over there ended up spreading the word that our neighborhood is a public street.  Now they park in front of our homes--and do it like it's a parking lot.  We'll have drivers sit across the street in front of another neighbor's house watching us, from their car waiting for us to go inside to move their car in front of our home.  We've even had to fight and argue with drivers from their neighborhood who claim they have more of a right to park in front OUR own home then we do!  I've even had one jerk tell me that it's one neighborhood and he does live on the street!  I and my neighbors are so sick of fighting for the right to park in front of our own home.

Off-Topic / Anybody else have a Problem getting the Radio Loyalty page to work? Please Help
« on: April 20, 2016, 01:17:06 am »Message ID: 1061084
Problem with Radio Loyalty I had to get a new harddrive and had Windows 10 hone addition installed.  The possessor is an AMD A6-3650 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.60 GHz.  As for Ram I’ve got an 8.00 GB (7.49 GB usable).  Google Chrome is the search engine which automatically updates itself but if I am going to ‘try and use’ Radio Loyalty I check for Google updates then clear out the browser history then I log into Fusion Cash and click the radio loyalty tab.  Now if I hadn’t used it for months on end, it will work fine twice but then on the third attempt the signal bar fights to stay full and then with 5-10 minutes left in my half-an-hour it all of a sudden restarts itself.  Now when I have the Radio Loyalty window open, it’s the top window (being over the fusion cash window tab) and I never minimize the window.  If I do anything else with the computer when Radio Loyalty is on, it always a Microsoft program, generally Word (either 2007 or 2013) or PowerPoint.  Nothing else.  And if I am working on a Microsoft program I have both windows in a side-by-side mode so both are clearly visible.  If I get one Radio Loyalty half-hour to work I immediately close both the fusion cash window and the Radio Loyalty window then reopen both.  Sometimes that will get me more than two other times it doesn't make a difference.
