Off-Topic / Re: Do you have an eating routine?
« on: May 30, 2018, 05:41:06 am »Message ID: 1218278
Nope.  I'm completely horrible with my eating.  I was really sleepy yesterday despite being awake only like 8 hours, and then I remembered that I didn't eat lunch.  If I was better at that, I'd probably be more motivated for do stuff instead of feeling sleepy.

Yeah, it really sucks how stores and such try to get so ahead of the times that they are already trying to sell you items for the next holiday.  I get that some people just have ideas for certain times of year, but people really need to try harder.

It was 80 here the last few days, which is about 20 degrees hotter than I'd prefer.  I don't know where these temperatures came from but I wish my cooler temperatures would return.

I've been trying to get back into cooking.  Crockpots are amazing for that since I can set stuff up before work and then return to a good meal.  The only downside I have is finding a recipe that I like.  So many recipes I enjoy don't use Crockpots so I need to find one.

I'm childless, but I'm also not in a relationship, so that's most of the reason for it.  Until I actually find someone, I don't really feel like I need to have a child.

I love milk chocolate.  That's the problem though is dark chocolate is so bitter to me so that I don't really eat it despite experts saying that it's better for you.

It has some good music, but I need to see it again.  I saw it when I was little and didn't really understand what was going on, so watching it now that I'm older I might have a better idea what's going on.

Good luck.  Car troubles suck unless you can do the work yourself.  You never really notice how much you appreciate a car until it's taken away from you.

Drivers who sit on your bumper despite you going the speed limit.  There is a ton of construction near me.  The normal speed limit is 55 and now they lowered it to 45.  I will be going 45 the whole way, maybe 47 even, and yet there is some idiot on my tail who weaves around you and basically cuts you off to show he doesn't appreciate you following the law.

I need to drink more.  I drink about 1 bottle of water that's like 24 oz or something, so I really need to start drinking more instead of indulging in soda or juices.  I really need to get back to making my own smoothies since I feel like that made me healthier.  Maybe I'm wrong, but I felt better back then.

I don't think so actually.  I can't even think that's in a Baby Ruth bar.  Weird.  Guess I will have to get one at some point and try it.

I realize that kids can get away faster than you think, but it amazes me how people lose track of a kid, especially outside.  Like, lock the kid indoors.  Yeah, they could still get hurt inside, but then they aren't going to be run over by a car or something.

No, not at all.  I keep trying to get into good habits during the summer and it never seems to happen.  I try to set goals for myself and then feel bad when I fail to accomplish them.  And this year I'm even further behind than normal.

I'm surprised it took this long for people to realize that we are willingly putting listening devices in our houses.  It's like how Amazon had the special key that lets the delivery people place your packages in your house.  Like, of course someone is going to abuse that.  Same with Alexa.  It has to be listening at all times to be aware when you ask for it's help, so of course that could be abused.

I can't really think of anyone like that.  I've probably met some of them but I just can't think about that right now.  Never really understood people like them, it's like they think you will think more highly of them or something if they brag all the time.  I don't get it.
