Off-Topic / Re: Going on 2 trips in the next few weeks.

Yay for you.  I think after just one trip I'd need some time to recover before going on another.  Ya must have some more energy now.  That's great.  Have a fun time... enjoy your trips and be safe.  Looking forward to hearing about them.

Never knew my birthday landed on National Cheeseburger day.  I usually make myself fish taco's with tomatillo sauce.  I'm bout the only one in the family that enjoys them.  I may just start a new tradition that everyone will surely enjoy.

That's an utterly disgusting thought.  Ya know those mat's people lay down to prevent slipping.  I bet there is a ton of germs and slime built up under those things.  I am one to really enjoy a bath. Oh and a heated tub with jet's is oh so comforting.  I don't light candles or have wine.  But I when I had a big tub like that I used it often.  Now I hardly ever take baths.  Just to busy.

I was a member of that one years ago.  I may have cashed out once or twice.  It must have not been worth my time since I vaguely remember much about it.  I figure I'll "work" a few reliable sites with the time I've got and let them add up quicker than waste my time with little dinky PTC sites.

I would bet some do.  With technology today and all the CSI techniques changing there names is an incredibly simple way to irritate an investigation.  Really with 1/2 the stuff criminals steal they probably have 0 use for or even know what 1/2 the stuff is.  Absolutely pointless thievery if ya ask me.  Karma will get em in the end.

I think I may have seen a Marie Callendars  years ago when I lived in a different county and drove my kids to Dr's all around the suburbs.  We never stopped to eat.  For some reason I envisioned an Italian restaurant like the olive garden but with higher prices.  I've had a couple of the different pies.  Not bad... not great - I'd rather make my own goodies.

I had to giggle when you said, "fixed my gmail, yahoo!" I giggle because my husband was and continues to have problems with his yahoo mail.  Don't suppose I'll here him say, "Fixed my yahoo mail, gmail!"

Off-Topic / Re: Do you have grown children who try to boss you around

I'm not at an age where my kids boss me around.  I think they've tried before but learned real quick that I'm the parent and I'm the boss.  Now 2 of my 3 children are adults and they are fairly independent.  As I am.  I imagine if either they or I ever had to rely on one another someone may end up being a bit bossy but for now we all rather respect one another.

Off-Topic / Re: How do you vacation.

I haven't had a trite and true vacation in 13 years.  I've had a weekend getaway here and there.  They were always based around water parks and children's activities. My next vacation (and I will start taking regular vacations at this point in my life) is taking my daughter to Disney World.  Yes another vacation built around children's activities.  However I enjoy Disney so much I've traveled there before with just adults and wouldn't mind doing it again.  Beyond this expensive trip we'll be saving and taking off to Hawaii next.

I don't think I've ever gotten attached to anyone on here.  Although I can say there are faces and stories of regulars I've come to recognize. (debidoo you are one of them).  And naturally I have concern for those who express hardships.  I rejoice when those are celebrating.  I'm not attached though.

I wouldn't mind living in a tiny house if I was alone.  But I'm not so I don't see it as possible.  I have a ton of kitchen stuff - baking and cake decorating is my passion.  I would need a couple of tiny houses just to store all my kitchen stuff.

Does it count if you use the things you collect?  I'm a cake decorator by trait and I love seeing the effect a new tip can create.  My son has gone as far as getting me sets for special occasions.  I have so many now that I'm falling behind on trying them out.  It's cool though cause sometimes I'll bring a special one to work with me and create something no other stores have in the area.

There are 7 stages of grief.  I believe dogs are confused... a little lost when one of the members of there pack is gone.  Or they (a member of the pack) are removed.  But through transition I don't think a dog goes through shock, denial, pain, guilt, anger etc.  Confusion yes.. grief.  Not so much.

Car time is bout' the only time I'm alone with the radio buttons at my fingertips to listen to what I want.  9 out of 10 times I land on WBGL - a christian radio station.  I never have to worry about what lyrics are going to come out that I wouldn't want my 12 year old repeating.

Youngest child here.  In fact my siblings are 11,13,15 & 17 years older than me.  My parents literally started another family when I was born.  Many thought I was my oldest sisters child.
