Off-Topic / College Debt
« on: October 07, 2012, 03:04:49 pm »Message ID: 618534
A big topic lately has been college debt. !8,000 is around what I owe for just my Associate Degree in Health Care Records which includes the aspect of medical billing and coding. I plan to use my degree to transfer into a dentistry school. Because of my high grades and the fact that I have completed many of the same classes needed I can go for just around five more years. Although I will need to go for six more total years to obtain a doctorate degree.  My point is that while I would like to go back to college to start my own practice I cannot afford any more student loans until I get my current loans paid off. Because that will take so long returning to college becomes unlikely for many of us. However, the real trick is to work full time and go to college full time even with children and household responsibilities. Online schools can really help. Although many classes have to be taken in person you can save time by doing some classes online. This makes the future more obtainable. I do not want to be in dead end jobs or just barely getting by. I want my children to live comfortably and provide to charities and church. This thread is for sharing financial and time strategy ideas that will help make a higher education closer to your reach.

Debate & Discuss / Cowards

Please mind Fusan Cash rules. Also, I relaise people can be hard to deal with, but be careful so they don't try to turn their own poor behavior around on you.

Debate & Discuss / How To Handle Christian Persecution On FusionCash
« on: October 06, 2012, 12:28:28 pm »Message ID: 617911
I thought it would be nice to discuss why people are so rude. I noticed someone in particular trying to cut down Bible verses and Christians because she has nothing better to do. How can we get Fusion Cash attention to these things? I don't go to other people's post trying to be rude and hurtful, but its like all that this one person lives for.

Off-Topic / Native American Christians
« on: October 04, 2012, 09:02:47 pm »Message ID: 617081
In case anyone wonders tuscarorarain means Tuscarora Rain. My tribe is Tuscarora of the Ipock clan and Rain stands for Biblical reference to Jesus Christ having the living water. Its a screen name I came up with in college. Someone mentioned Native American opression in regards to religion, but I couldn't post back because I had exceeded my comments for the day. Back in the old days natives lost their clan names and languages and where forced into religious slavery. They where basically handed a peice of paper telling them what their new religion was in an effort to force them to fit in to Caucasian man's society. These type of cases are devestatingly wrong. People might say, "they gave them the gospel." However, I do not beleive that. You can't force someone into following God because in those cases its just not real. Someone needs to get saved because of personal conviction and a desire for salvation. Some of my best native freinds are not Christians but I love them. I try to win them to the Lord Jesus Christ. Its important to share the gospel and always be there for people to the best of your ability. I beleive the Bible talks about doing double of what people ask us. We need to show them God through us. Its not always easy to be the odd one out, but always be sweet and have a servant's heart to help people. This, "I am better than you attitude," and zingers needs to end. Try to help people even the rude ones. Jesus ayor anosh' ni. In Navajo, "Jesus loves you."

Off-Topic / Relationship Advice For Christians
« on: October 04, 2012, 11:26:41 am »Message ID: 616701
So I am not much for starting topics, but I was thinking the other day that it would be nice to have a place for Chrisitans to discuss things. The beauty of this site is most people really don't know each other. This could be freindship, church, family, and relationship advice. Its important to have a place where you can speak freely about your issues and know people will give you caring and positive feedback. Please lets be kind to each other.
