Off-Topic / Re: What do you do when you get a hole in your sock?

True, I tend to run my work out sock out so the last pair I got I splurged for better quality.

I throw them away, because by the time they get holes, they are usually worn thin and stretched out. I hate stretched out socks.

If it's just a work out sock I B) Keep wearing them- until the hole spreads too big.  Otherwise, I replace them.

That's true; many years ago my mother left her car in another state where it stopped because the repairs equaled more than the cost of the car.

In some cases people do not have a tow service, so just leave it where it stopped working.

When I see cars on the side of the road, unless it's there the next time I go out I automatically assume they'll be back to get it soon and that's just where it stopped.

I find it so odd when I see abandoned cars on the side of the road...I guess it seems weird, but I have to ask myself "did this person just drop there car off and walk somewhere or something"... I mean, why not get it towed somewhere?

I agree; it was touching (and thought provoking) indeed.

What you posted touched my heart so much. It is sad but true.

Excellent points.  It truly is about the journey.

And one day you realize that it wasn’t the game, it was who you watched it with.
It wasn’t about the house you owned. It was the people in it.
It wasn’t about the best coffee ever, but who you made it for.
It wasn’t all the work you put in, but who was in the trenches with you.
It wasn’t the great dinner prepared for you. It was who brought you your plate.
You have to learn how to value the time that someone gives you because that’s something they will never get back. It’s priceless.
When you’re at the end of your years, what’s really going to matter??

That's a very good phone, I think most of us are too attached to our phones to be honest.

Honestly the smartphone. There are times Id rather not be bothered by a phone when I'm out. Need that tech seperation release

My computer for sure; I can do everything I do on my laptop on my phone if need be, plus I can always use library computers for things I can't.

True, I've also been meeting the cash out minimum at a slower than usual pace due to not getting the forum credits.  They always get it together though.

Good luck to everyone who got to cash out this month or is going to. I know this is late hope you all had a wonderful month and Thanksgiving. Wish you all a prosperous December & hope you all make a lot of money. Also, even though this site hasn't been what it once was I've always been thankful for the people here who post on this forum if you agree or disagree thank you for your insights & opinions on whatever subjects have been discussed. Its been a pleasure.

thanks...been hard to cash out without these forum credits though

I agree! But I'm ready for 2022.  2021 was a good year, except for me losing my grandmother- I truly thought I had more time! but I'm anticipating another good year, hopefully for us all.

December will be here in a blink of the eye.  The year has gone by really fast.
