We have tried toys, etc for our cats over the years, and they seem to find their own amusement.  Jumping off the refrigerator sounds normal to me.  Our cat runs through the house like he is after something.  From the front to the back and then front again, over and over again.  It's funny to watch.

Both!  I can't imaging not eating either one.  My neighbor eats only vegetables and is so skinny  - I'm jealous, but won't give up my meat.
