My blood curdles when I witness bullying!  The current 68 year old lady that was verbally abused (all over the news now) shows that is isn't just kids that get bullied.  It happens at all ages  >:(

Rainy days and cloudy skies didn't use to bother me until I moved to Florida!  Now - being use to the sun all the time, I realize how gray the Midwest is.  I only get depressed though when it rains for days and I want to go outside  :-

The timing on this decision leave something of a question in my mind.  Aside from that, I do feel those young people who weren't responsible for coming into the country and who honor our flag should not be punished by being deported.  My first response was GREAT!  but I do feel it is just a band-aid.  AND I do feel the immigration situation needs to be addressed - SOON

For me ------  Find rest,  O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. Psalm 62:5

I won't argue with those against this discussion, but can only relate my own life.

Anyone want to share their homemade Iced Coffee recipe?  I love a cup in the AM.  I use the same syrup McDonald's uses in their Iced Coffee.  You can get it at Walmart.  ;)

As a long distance parent and grandparent, I find Facebook good for keeping up with the kids and their activities.  Something funny that happened that day that they won't take time to call and tell me about is easy to share on FB for all to see.

Off-Topic / Re: THE RULES HAVE BEEN UPDATED!!!!!
« on: June 21, 2012, 10:14:59 am »Message ID: 558546
Since I am new - I don't know what the rules use to be - but these look pretty easy to follow.  Treat others with repect!

quote author=Kohler link=topic=3237.msg32168#msg32168 date=1223255547]
1. Observe the golden rule -- Treat others as you would like to be treated

This one is pretty obvious. This means NO flaming, NO derogatory remarks to other members or staff. I know it is an online forum, but behind everyone's screen name is a real human with real feelings. So please respect everyone, even if you do not agree with them, or get along with them.

What if I break this rule? You will be banned for a minimum of 14 days and in a severe case your FusionCash account will be closed and all money will be forfeited.

2. Respect our advertisers -- Do not discuss cancellation or post disparaging remarks

This is a big one. We rely on the relationship between ourselves and the advertisers and companies we work with to be able to bring you the best offers that are out there. We need our members to understand that the advertisers are paying you to be a member. Please do offers that you are interested in, and not just do them because it has a 20 dollar payout. I hear people all the time whining about an offer that did not credit, but if they were truly interested in the offer it would not be that big of a deal because they wanted the product/service to begin with and the cash they get back from that is just something on the side. As long as you respect our advertisers, you may state your honest opinion of them – saying "This offer sucks!" or "This offer is a scam!" is not an honest opinion since it is speaking  out of anger.

What if I break this rule? You will be banned for a minimum of 7 days.

3. Do not paste links to other sites -- This means no referral links whatsoever

A rule that should probably be number one or number two on the list, because it seems to the be the one most broken. This forum is for FusionCash, not for you to see how many people you can get to your other site that you make money off of. It is not a forum for you to spam your link to your store, candle selling site, or any other site that you can make money off of others. If it is a video on YouTube, or a news story you wish to share with us, by all means share your link.  But you should not post links to sites that you own, or in which you have a vested interest. We do not need people sharing links that contains links to other sites where the original poster can gain money from other members. Any link found that contains referral links will be taken down immediately, and the poster will be promptly banned. If you have a link and you are unsure if you can post it, please send in a support ticket or an email to support@fusioncash.com and I will be more than happy to look it over and let you know.

What if I break this rule? You will be banned from the forum and the website entirely, no questions asked, no second chances. People are taking advantage of this forum and it is no longer going to fly.

4. Understand that we cannot filter all of the content on the forums, so you may read or see something you don't like.

This isn't so much a rule as the others. We do believe in free speech, so if someone doesn't like the color purple and purple is your favorite color – sorry. We are not going to mute people's opinion of us or other subjects. Be respectful, observe the golden rule, and know that everyone is not going to share the same view you have.

What if I break this rule? You will be banned for a minimum of 14 days.

REMEMBER: Your use of the forums is a privilege, not a right, and we may revoke your access at any time and for any reason.

How long has this been going around.  Fun - My word in

Registe            rjavascript:void(0);

Hi ALL!!!

I saw this on another forum and thought it would be fun to start here.

This is a Word Chain game.  I'll start with a word and the next person to post MUST use the last letter of my word and use it as the first letter of theirs.  Each person to post after that must use the last letter of the previous word as the first letter of their word.  There is no limit to how often or many words you can post.  I hope I have explained this well.

Have fun!!

Off-Topic / Re: Pet Hair on Furniture?
« on: June 21, 2012, 09:58:53 am »Message ID: 558538
Somewhere I read that a dryer sheet will remove pet hair.  Just rub in across the furniture - don't know whether or not it works.  I cover chairs with towels and then daily run them through the clothes dryer on no heat.

I just read another tip...

This one is on Pet Hair.

Totally loved this one.. since we have 2 big dogs, and one inside cat. Fur is definitely flying in our house.  Even though I vac everyday.. cover the furniture with clean sheets.. oh and also a clean sheet over top of our cali-king bed.  Sometimes the hair gets where it is not suppose to.

I go through so many lint rollers!!!!!   :BangHead:

Well......

Just read that if you put on a rubber glove..
You can brush the hair right off your furniture!!!!

Surely beats having to buy stock in the lint roller company!!!   :D

So put it to the test... and tell me what you think!

yes   :dontknow:  no

Do you think this would save you some money?

I sure do!  ((of course I will still have the lint rollers on hand... but will not have to buy cases of them ))  haha...
