I am going to thank the Earth for its plenty! We are blessed that the Earth has provided us with
plenty of resources for us to enjoy. I have promised to adhere to the dictum: "To respect life at all levels".
Something like "live and let live principle". And yes, I am doing my part to recycle resources to reduce
pollution. If we all do our part, we all can enjoy this wonderful Earth.
Thank the earth?????
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”—Genesis 1:1.

As great a prophet and leader Moses was,God punished him for not honoring him when they needed water.
My point here is honor the maker of the earth....not the earth.

And also God will bring ruin to those ruining the earth.

Right before the final prayer that ended The Memorial worldwide for Jehovahs organization this beautiful song was sung and helped get the message of truth out to the world.

Enjoy.

Please, keep this discussion about doing anything related to Good Friday, not just general plans!
Why should you be surprised? What do rabbits, eggs and candy have to do with Jesus resurrection?

Math 15:14 Then he also told them an illustration: “A blind man cannot guide a blind man, can he? Both will fall into a pit,* will they not?

Eggs mean new life (which is what a resurrection is supposed to be). The Easter Bunny goes back to some German tradition. Candy is common for holidays and seasons. If you want to know more, go to an online encyclopedia.
After Jesus told the 11 apostles to keep rememberance of this occasion,he knew shortly he would be executed.I dont think he had bunnies, candy or eggs in mind.Manmade traditions sound about right.

In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus kneeled and poured out his heart in prayer. Soon, an armed mob of soldiers, priests, and others arrived to arrest him. Judas approached and singled Jesus out by giving him a kiss. As the soldiers bound Jesus, the apostles fled.

Only symbols Jesus used when he instituted The Lords evening meal were unleavened bread to symbolize his sinless body and wine to symbolize his blood.

While his resurrection strengthens the faith of Xtians to have power over death, his death was commanded by him to observe it because of who he was and how great he suffered.......both he and his father.

I use to not eat any meat on Good Friday. However I have not been following my religion lately. Not quite sure why. However, I have started reading the Bible and plan to get back to going to church.
This comes from the bible RE eating meat

Worldwide ALL the kingdom halls are honoring the command Jesus gave after he dismissed Judas. To keep remembering this day/night that he was about to be executed as an innocent man.A Memorial.

Today is Passover and it corresponds to Nisan 14<Jewish calendar>when Gods angel spared the sons of the Israelites and punished the Egyptians. How appropriate Jesus lays down his life for his father and mankind.

You're giving grammatical advice is only slightly more funny than Charles Taze Russell thinking he had a clue about interpreting the bible.

BTW, neither the spellcheck nor online dictionary seems to have a problem with my spelling.

 noun: organisation
1.
an organized body of people with a particular purpose, especially a business, society, association, etc.
"a research organization"
synonyms:   company, firm, concern, operation, corporation, institution, group, establishment, consortium, conglomerate, combine, syndicate, body, agency, federation, confederation, alliance, coalition, association, movement, society, league, club, network, confederacy; More

Care to tell us why the term Jehovah Witness is NOT in the bible yet?

Both spellings are correct.

And to answer your last question - If it was not in the Bible when it was first written it can't be added. Well maybe to the modern day versions where everything is all changed but those are not the Inspired Word of God.
I knew with all the chat between Paints,JJ and myself this topic was too juicy for you and eventually you would put your 2 cents in.

RE the grammatical stuff when others bring that up in a forum to try and get an edge it only shows a weakness on their part.I know when i copy and paste something from JW.org it is SPOT on.And even that doesnt soothe the foolish one.I will also admit i am lazy not obliging to the kings english and whats more important to me is conveying my message and i think i do it well.

As far as JWs and their name.......https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/faq/name-jehovahs-witnesses/

I see Gods name is in KJV Psalms 83:18 and those that seem to worry about the organizations name in the bible dont even acknowledge that.

JWs use Gods name and witness to HIM being GOD!!And i think if you read Math 24:14 you will see worldwide they witness worldwide about it.And the KJV bible has been around much longer then and before Gods people adopted their name.

JJ and Controversial snowflake would be more wise to realize what Jesus told Pilate RE this world and his kingdom was NO part of it instead of supporting Trump. And THAT was ALWAYS in the bible and NOT added.

While a "spirited" debate between Hitch and Johnnie can always make for interesting reading, I'm going to return to the OP. Even with something as mundane as bread pans, yes I believe God answers prayers. There is no such thing as a coincidence with God. I have a blog devoted to that idea called No Coincidences with God.

If you are at all interested in a read - google "No Coincidences with God" and "Lucas-web" -- and you can find it somewhere in the top results.

The way I see it, if God can't be trusted for the small things, (like bread pans :) ) why would anyone trust him with the big things?

Jesus didn't come to start a new religion.  He came to show us how to live.

“For This I Have Come Into the World”
Note Jesus’ remarkable teaching ability as he courageously bears witness to the truth.

Based on Matthew 21:23-46; 22:15-46.

https://www.jw.org/en/publications/dramatic-bible-readings/jesus-came-into-the-world/

They called Jesus "teacher"and "rabbi" fcr a reason. He always referred to his fathers teachings and scriptures being fufilled and lessons.

The bible is GODS word NOT mans!!All scripture inspired by God means just that. You think you are going to have over 40 writers of it and the book be in order just as the universe is.What does that mean?DIVINITY!!!

Happy Palm Sunday! Praise the King of kings & Lord of lords!

The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,

“Hosanna!”

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

“Blessed is the king of Israel!”

Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written:

 “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion;
    see, your king is coming,
    seated on a donkey’s colt.”

At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him.

John 12:12-16
Make up your mind!!!One breath you are praising Trump...now Jesus???

Just a reminder...bible says u cant serve 2 masters.

I think if Jesus told Pilate his kingdom was NO part of this world,i dont think he would have a problem telling Trump that either...especially when he also said a lover of $$$ is very doubtful to receive entry to Gods kingdom.

No man can serve two masters: for either he. will hate the one, and love the other; or else. he will hold to the one, and despise the other, Ye cannot serve God and money.KJV

We usually don't but I would like to start. Especially since we have our son now. It will be his first Easter and it would be nice to start a tradition.
When you remember a loved one that has passed away do you refer to it as a tradition?

Jesus was about to go thru an agonizing death hrs after he dismissed Judas. He told the other 11 to REMEMBER this.He willingly did this for his father and the human race. That is an act of love that cant be denied.

This Fri marks the anniversary of that and will be remembered by over 20 million people at a Kingdom Hall near you.

The bible reads Jesus was troubled right before what he had to go thru that drops of sweat came off of him as if it was drops of blood.

I have my own theory of that.I liken it to a brave fireman that gives up his life to save another.Do we remember the survivor 20 yrs later or do we never forget the love and courage that fireman showed? As Jesus said the greatest act of love one can give is their life for someone else. And he did it for the entire human race and the TRUE God Jehovah.
