I work fulltime in security for a great,gated community in Greenwich,Ct.I do some cleaning work on the side as it used to be a fulltime business,but doing 48 hrs a week in security i obviously cutback.

We also have an oldies trio that we play lots of good stuff from 50's 60's and 70's.

You are right we have gotten way off topic here and i take part of the blame for that.The gay issue in this world ties in with God or religeon a lot of times and i guess its easy to get off track.

I would like to say 2 points on my perception why i tell you to read the bible.You mentioned man writing it and i told you its written in Timothy he was inspired by God.And the point on faith where it is dead without works.

Oh BTW....the name Satan means "adversary"mainly started with rebellion in Eden with A&E and how he challenged Jehovahs right to rule over his creation.

I loved Carlin.I remember him blaming God for his creatures dying.Unfortunately he was blind too cos bible answers about death being an enemy and how A&E were warned they would die if they dis-obeyed.And they did and off-spring inherited it.

Again your ignorance of bible shows.The Bible says faith without works is dead.So just having faith alone isnt enuff as you say for your eternal bliss.Seriously before you condemn the bible at least know what is says.Its obvious you havent a clue.Most people in this world who think they are christians i believe is who you are listening to.A far difference between them and what bible states.It really is too much to get into so again before you go bashing the bible....READ IT FIRST!!

And i will be kind to give you 1 example.I was brought up as a catholic and i would hope you would even know what a joke Xmas is.The so called xtians at Jesus birth forget to tell you how a mad-crazed king named Herod went on and killed all the 2 yr olds after the astrologists didnt report back to him on where the child was.

So again my point again as bible states "Satan transforms himself into an angel of light and is mis-leading christendom.So in a way i really dont blame you for bashing them because they are as blind as you are.

Im sorry we are off topic...but Mathew,bottom line is you dont accept bible and i do.I base my responses from the bible.You actually used a quote from an imperfect man...LOL!Jeremiah said under the influence of Jehovah "to earthling man his way does not belong,he is walking to even direct his own step."I suggest you dive a little deeper in the bible because you will also see its a history book where events can be found even by you that happened.

But again i find most that discredit the bible dont even have a clue what it says.Typical for mankind again for trying to decide whats right and wrong and proving the mess the world is in because of that.

I found that rather amusing.Someone asks,"what is the meaning of life"...then says dont say god....hmmmmmmmm .Pretty amazing life can form on its own...LOL!

Its really amazing how most of the human race wants to decide for themselves what is good and what is bad.The reason why the world is in the mess its in now!!

6000 years of futility trying to govern ourselves and only getting worse.When are we gonna wakeup and smell the coffee?

Premar...i am sorry to hear you were born with that condition.The Creator  had NOTHING to do with it.The penalty of sin was hardship and eventually death for man.We inherited sin because A&E started the human race on the wrong foot so to speak.If a druggie mom passes on drug addiction to her offspring do you wanna blame God for that too?Jesus demonstrated his fathers healing powers eventually from sin 2000 yrs ago.Remember this,if God had destroyed A&E immediately the human race wouldnt exist.But he knew some of the human race would obey and love him.Read the book of JOB in the bible to see the claims Satan made to God regarding how humans would feel towards him and how Job and many others proved Satan to be wrong.

Scripture in Eccl reads,"Man has dominated himself to his own injury"6000 years later after rebellion in Eden...who can argue that isnt true.The human race isnt automated otherwise if we were LOVE wouldnt exist.Jehovah doesnt force anyone to serve,love or obey him.It truly is in mans best interest to do so as proven by man trying to govern himself in this satanic system.Can you imagine when Pilate called for 1 of the prisoners to be released they chose Barbaras over Jesus.Why?Because Jesus was a threat to their wicked and greedy ways.Imagine treating Jesus like a criminal after he had proven beyond a doubt he truly was Gods son and taught love and peace and eventually sacrificed his own life to VINDICATE his fathers name and SAVE the human race.

As i have gotten older i love cloudy,overcast days.I think there is a certain serenity to them.I really got to hate the heat and the way the sun feels when its hot outside.I live in NY and we recently had a terrible heat that just drains you.Someone mentioned Oregon here.I think i might be a good candidate to live in the Pacific Northwest.But i dont want rain all the time either.
