Off-Topic / Re: Happy or unhappy with your job?
« on: December 18, 2012, 05:52:50 am »Message ID: 658412
I am very happy with my job.  As salaries go, it is not a lot of money but the focus is on helping people achieve their highest potential in a family atmosphere.  Both our long-term workers and our clientele are considered family and that is what makes it special.

The pinch made a "pop!"-- Grinchy thought it was funny;
Santa used a balloon to enhance his flat tummy.

Suggestions / Re: I dont qualify for most surveys Why??
« on: December 18, 2012, 05:42:52 am »Message ID: 658408
I have come to the conclusion that age and location disqualify a "surveyee"-- especially age.  My basis for this opinion is how quickly I am disqualified after those first few questions.  Companies should realize that seniors are also consumers and sometimes have more discretionary funds to funnel into their products.

Some of the things that help me move on when I am bothered by my age include humor (always a great medicine), learning a new skill or hobby, meditating on scripture, and doing something nice for someone else/someone new-- not your usual caregiving recipient.  Exercise also helps to release endorphins that elevate mood.  I have read that making/looking through photograph albums is a mood elevator.  Best wishes to you; I hope this helps

I enjoy the 100% herbal teas the best; however, for the antioxidant benefits I sometimes add a green tea bag or two while steeping the tea.  It does not have a strong flavor to mitigate the herbal tea flavor and I feel like I am enhancing my health as well as enjoying my favorite flavors.  I really like peppermint tea; gingerbread spice is great for this time of year.

I get kicked out of surveys when using IE; I will be part way through the survey then get a screen that says, "Internet Explorer cannot display this web page."  That has happened with Firefox also but not as much.  It is very frustrating.

This reminds me of the old song from childhood: "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth."  Anyone else out there remember this?

When all at once, the dog kicked my platter
As though he thought cookies would make me much fatter.

The traditional Christmas poem. Add your lines to it and make it funny.  This will be interesting.  I'll start with......

Twas the night before Christmas, just me and my dog, sitting by the fireplace, sipping eggnog..........
When all at once, the dog kicked my platter
As though he thought cookies would make me much fatter...

Does Firefox open the pages quickly for you?  I get so frustrated having to wait.

I also have experienced browser problems trying to complete tasks on FC, using both IE and Firefox.  When you switched to Google Chrome, did you uninstall either of the others?  If not, does that slow down your pc functions to have several browsers installed?

Ditto to the "more pay for longer videos."  Sometimes after watching a video, I do not receive credit.  Is there something I am not doing?  I try to check if there is an additional task, but if there is it is not clear.

FusionCash / Re: BBB Rating back to A+ / 7 years old!

This is very good to know.  A lot of us depend on BBB to check out businesses.  Congratulations, FC!

Hi all,

FusionCash quietly turned 7 years old a few days ago.  According to BLS stats, that's longer than a majority of small businesses last.  As always, we have our dedicated and passionate members to thank for our continued success.

A side effect of this anniversary is that our BBB rating has increased from A to A+.  I say 'increased', but it really 'returned': it used to be A+ a few years ago, until an algorithm change at BBB penalized our rating because we were under 7 years old.  Now that penalty is gone, and we're back on top.

By The Numbers....

* Well over 50,000 individual cashout payments sent
* 83 consecutive months of cashouts paid, plus a couple months which had 2 payment runs due to a promotion.
* Over 2.4 million registrations recorded
* More than half a million forum posts
* Well over $2 million paid out to our members
* Billions of pageviews served

Here's to another seven!
