Did anyone read the story about the homeowner who held the runaway inmates from Georgia at gunpoint until the cops could come and take them away?

They were trying to steal his car. It happened in Tennessee.  Yay!!

I just remembered that I wanted to tell guacamole makers something important. If you choose to store your homemade guac in the fridge, leave the avocado stone in the middle. It will keep it from turning dark. Yay!

(CNN) Actor Bill Paxton, whose extensive career included films such as "Twister," "Aliens" and "Titanic," has died, a representative for his family said in a statement. He was 61. 

"It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery," the statement said.

I am finally into the 21st Century and bought a smartphone. I dropped my flip phone and the screen did not work anymore so I was kind of compelled. I have a little booklet that gives some info, but I have trouble doing anything on the li'l bugger. 

Has anyone else had a problem with using their smartphones? That is, when they first got them. I haven't seen anyone have as much trouble as I do using it. And I have a feeling that the older generation are the only ones with this problem. What say you?

Just an FYI: If you have sore muscles, soak in a hot tub of epsom salts. They infuse your body with magnesium, which is good because most people are deficient in that mineral, and it will soothe your achy muscles. 

If you put baking soda in the bath at the same time, your skin will be smoothed and there will be no bathtub ring. Quite a bonus!

I saw an absolutely beautiful double rainbow yesterday. I think it might have been the first one I've ever seen.

We were driving by the river as the sun was setting. The light was absolutely fantastic on the bluffs. God makes some great stuff!

I hope everyone is going to vote today. You can at least hold your nose and vote for the candidate with the better policies. I voted early and I would assume some of you did too. 

FCers are very patriotic, I'm sure.
