Off-Topic / Re: How do you usually feel on rainy days?

I love rainy days. You can sleep in, read a book and be lazy. That is, if you don't have to work. I still like it. It's invigorating and it makes things grow.  ;D

I got all those video errors, but there always seem to be issues of some sort or other. What I thought was odd was that there were so many of the same ones that did the same thing.  ??? Anyway, now I just do other videos, tasks or whatever.

I assume that someone will report them and it will get fixed eventually.

364 as of this post. I seem to be somewhat of a slacker when it comes to postings.

I love singing in the shower. Your voice sounds so good in there that you think you could make it in the big time.  8)

Haven't done it for some time, though. Don't know if it's lack of time or that I'm not in a good enough mood. Maybe I'll start again. Thanks for bringing it up.

I've never seen an example of anyone getting a large sum of money for free (e.g., lottery, inheritance) and ending up being happy.

Therefore, I guess I'd keep on working and live the same as always, but be sensible enough to sock the money away for anything I'd carefully considered first.

It's always fun to think about having all the money you need, isn't it?  :moneymouth:

Debate & Discuss / Re: Which president did you like?
« on: April 02, 2014, 05:44:50 pm »Message ID: 866878
I used to be naive enough to believe that whatever president was in office would take care of his country and its people, so I harbored no ill will against any of them. Now I see that they get where they are because of money and croneyism, etc. and that they are out to look after themselves for the most part.  :o

There are some exceptions but I am really skeptical of them all. I vote because I should and it's my responsibility, but knowing the best candidate is very difficult since almost all politicians lie about everything. How wrong is that? :-\

I have NEVER been able to complete the Samplicious survey. There are some surveys I do repeatedly knowing full well nothing will come of it. The rest of them are hit and miss, so I get credited for some of them some of the time. Better than nothing.  ;)

Unfortunately, yes. A few times. I never felt it was my fault, though. I suppose that's normal.

My daughter uses warm oil with garlic (not sure in what form) in it for her children and it works really well. You have to be very careful doing that though. Probably only use a very small amount. If I wanted to try it myself, I would research it online first.

I prefer crossword puzzles. I even like the really difficult ones if I have someone else to do them with. You can each contribute half a brain or more that way.

I avoided word searches for a long time because they didn't seem to be much of a challenge. But now I feel they have a place in the world and I enjoy them too.  :angel11:

Yes, plants indoors cleans the air in the home.

I agree. I enjoy my house plants and they have the benefit of cleaning the air as well.
A couple of the really big ones will be taking to the outdoors soon for the summer.
